Do not listen to nonsense. Like an auspicious date, the lineage of words is without error. Like an auspicious planet, the lineage of meaning is without personal conjecture. Like an auspicious star, the lineage of blessings is without the intrusion of Rudra. Like an auspicious sun, the lineage of symbols is without the intrusion of heterogeneity. Thus, the person who has mastered the instructions of the four frameworks. Like the ocean, he does not look to the vastness of the sutras. Like a pond, he does not look to the profound meaning of the tantras. Like a spring, he does not look to the easy words of the treatises. Like a canal, he does not sniff at the many kinds of oral instructions. Like the melodious sound of the Kalaviṅka, like the voice of Brahma, he knows the oral instructions of the pure lineage. Like the sound of a crow, he does not accept the views of other schools. Like the king of medicines, having tasted the sweet nectar, he cuts off the desire for other foods. Likewise, possessing the lineage of his own empowerment, like rice porridge, he does not waver in his faith in other practices, and he does not drool over other teachings. It is said that Sro-ston offered Geshe Gya barley porridge and meat, and Geshe said, "I don't need these two things, enjoy them yourself." Sro-ston said, "Please enjoy the barley porridge, please enjoy the meat." It is said that offering barley porridge and meat to yogis harms their practice, which is inappropriate. Ston Sod said, "The seven natures of a yogi, the practice of a person who does not possess these seven natures, is like a leaky container, unable to attain peace and nirvana." Someone asked, "What are the seven natures?" He replied, "Generally speaking, it is important to practice by pressing down on the seat of practice. If you pursue worldly achievements from the place of practice, then the arrow of the demon will strike your heart. Even if it is the path of the exoteric, if your armor has not left the worldly, then how can the Dharma that transcends the worldly arise in your heart? Such a person has no signs and meanings of the path. The nature of a yogi refers to not viewing the Dharma from a worldly perspective. There are seven different distinctions in this. If you want to obtain the fruit that transcends the worldly, you must have behavior that is inconsistent with the worldly. The key is not to pray to ghosts and spirits, which is crucial."

Not praying to gods is the second, not favoring other religions is the third, not seeking worldly glory in this life is the fourth, considering worldly blessings as obstacles is the fifth, not eating practice as food is the sixth, and not regarding poison harmful to oneself as medicine is the seventh. Practitioners, from the place of inferior conduct, their own realization continuously rises. If contemplation and meditation are well experienced, it doesn't matter what one eats or wears. If one grasps the path of liberation, it doesn't matter even if one doesn't come again in this life. Practitioners do not make food and wealth the goal of practice, do not regard service and offerings as friends, and do not rejoice in blessings. He said that his school differs from other religions. Geshe Chumikpa said: The intermediate path of Tantra is extraordinary, the three difficult passes to cross. For those who have not crossed these three passes, it is difficult for view, meditation, and conduct to arise in the continuum. He was saying this. Someone asked: What are the three passes? He replied: The first is the pass of mind training, the second is the pass of asceticism, and the third is the pass of renunciates. The way our lineage enters practice is different from other lineages. This is a teaching that has not been heard before, like food that has not been tasted on the excellent island, a path that has not been traveled. According to this system, the method of dividing the stages of the path is arranged in three stages of practice. The first is the yoga of the basis of action, the path of mind training, where the blessings of excellence are integrated into the continuum. In it. With the empowerment of co-emergent wisdom, using one complete fourfold blessing to ripen it, and then sending it into contemplation, meditation, recitation, and accomplishment. With one mantra, everything is accomplished without bias, focusing on one essence combines with the co-emergent meaning of the original nature, allowing the wisdom that dwells within oneself to forcefully manifest in the continuum. This must be done in front of one's own guru, and if one goes beyond the guru, it cannot be accomplished. Initially, guidance is the main thing, and the strokes of the letters are not important, he said. He also said: The second is the yoga of the path of action, in order to make the meaning of realization stable through familiarity, one should enter the pass of asceticism. This pass solidifies the previous practice, so at this time, two-thirds of the path has been cut off, which is contemplation and meditation.
