If you don't do it this way, there's no way not to do Dharma. The latter half of life is gathered under something that looks like just pretending to have it. If you become the leader of a gathering, then it becomes an obstacle to doing the Dharma itself, an obstacle to distraction, merit, and virtuous deeds. In the name of a scholar, the true face of bodhichitta is eventually lost. Having become a high official, spending one's life as a servant of attendants, there is no greater disaster than this. The so-called mixing flour and water of dualistic appearance is the key to the pith instructions. Because the knowledge of dualistic appearance is liberated in itself, and there the extremes of thought cease, Samsara is purified in the realm of reality, and there is no need to attain nirvana, it is naturally accomplished, there is no easier Dharma than this. Profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, clear light, uncompounded. I have obtained such a nectar-like Dharma through my lineage. No matter who I show it to, they will not understand, so I will remain silent and alone in the forest. He said. The Protector, the Mighty One, said so. Geshe Gyachumiwa said: The two great disciples are not very satisfied with the instructions. He said that the old father himself must plant something wonderful for them. The Lama said: Definitive knowledge does not arise in a mindstream that has not accumulated merit. For a person without definitive knowledge, even if you plant the most extraordinary instructions, it will not become a place of wonder. For those who have previously accumulated and purified, and who have previous karma, there is no word that does not introduce the oceans of names of the precious collections of scriptures. For the appearances of the objects of the six senses, there is nothing that has not been transformed into instructions. For example, Geshe Potowa. His textbook was not given by the Lama as a Bebu. When the mind of a practitioner is pure, the instructions are indicated by the object, so at that time, it is natural for the appearance to become a textbook. Even if you plant instructions without accumulating merit, definitive knowledge will not be born. It will not enter the ultimate truth of what is to be known. Because there, realization will not arise in the mindstream, so exaggeration and depreciation will not be cut off, it must arise from the letters. If you rely on external Bebums, you will become a fortune-telling Buddha. For something like a balance of practice, letters will cause harm. When making a determination on the Lama's words, if you keep the words secret, that is not good. When forming in the mind, if you lose vigilance over the symbols, that is not good. The door for the arising of realization is opened.

Regarding the situation of introducing one year late, the fault of Halpa is borne by the written words. When the teacher manifests illness, there is no need to search for scriptures. Because no writing was given, but it was kept in mind, so it is said. Furthermore, Geshe Gya Drak Sö's teaching is: When an enemy arises from the place of refuge, therefore Dharma cannot grant Buddhahood. What obstructs the path to liberation and its fruit is not the wisdom of commentators on treatises. When this was said, I asked: If Dharma cannot grant Buddhahood, then which path should be taken? He replied: Jojo, during meditative equipoise, all phenomena are like the center of the sky, free from movement. In the post-meditation state, there are no objects of the six consciousnesses. Because one knows appearances as their own nature, therefore clinging to the continuum of sentient beings as happiness. Proclaiming the rope of delusion is refuge, but if one clings to the taste of bliss and clarity, and is overly attached to meditation, then becoming dull in meditation there will become a stain and become an enemy. If one does not break meditative equipoise, one will not see the post-meditation state, so tranquility will accumulate stains, such a practice, will become an enemy of the path, therefore it cannot grant Buddhahood. For the continuum of sentient beings who possess all bonds, with the nature of not abandoning subtle afflictions, relying on antidotes for afflictions arising from sudden causes is the path. If one does not relax the guarding of antidotes at all times, but immediately cherishes it, then there it will again become a conceptualization dependent on antidotes. There it will obstruct the path to liberation and its fruit. If one clings to antidotes, even an eighth-ground Bodhisattva will fall. Stains can be washed away with water, but if one does not leave water at all times, then the water itself will become stains, just like that. He also said: Please tell me, what is the key instruction for completing the stages and paths all at once? He replied: It is the perception of seeing the Lama as a Buddha. If one has not accumulated merit, it is difficult to generate this perception. If this mind is unartificial, then it is impossible for realization not to arise in the continuum. Rather than progressing through the realization of the stages and paths, it cannot be manifested through meditation and action. In general, if blessings have not entered the continuum, it is impossible for realization to arise. The root of blessings is devotion, therefore, seeing the Lama as a Buddha is the only important thing. My instruction, "Mind Training," has not spread outwardly among the collections of scriptures, nor has it spread inwardly among the sections of tantras. Because it is a teaching that has never been heard before.
