It doesn't appear. In general, if the mind does not turn away from samsara, Dharma will not come, it is said. Dampa Rinpoche said: If you do not separate from the armor of the world, the Dharma of transcendence will not arise in the lineage. If the mind of desire does not turn away, the end will not come together in this work. Unless you give up this life with a mind of abandonment, you will not find an opportunity to practice Dharma. As long as the mind does not turn away from the pursuit of worldly greatness, virtue will not arise in the lineage. Until faith is not tested by the bitterness of perseverance, the Dharma of casualness and joy will not cultivate the ground and path. Unless you do not do what the enemy likes in time, you will not be able to completely become a practitioner of Dharma. Unless you stay alone like a wounded deer, the stain of attachment and aversion will not be removed. Unless you do not generate unnecessary thoughts about worldly affairs, the mind of this life will not be reversed. Unless you do not know contentment with things, the emptiness of the mind will not be filled, it is said. Dampa Rinpoche said: When practicing Dharma, it is most important to perceive the Lama as the Buddha, so do not turn away from respect. It is important to generate compassion with devotion and respect. Because there is no power to enter the blessings, it is important to see the instructions as nectar, generate definite knowledge. Do not separate from the cherished mind, because there is no power to understand the meaning. For the Dharma of the practice lineage, the motivation of practice is most important, so do not postpone virtue. Generate tireless diligence, because there is no power not to generate experience. First, it is most important to encounter the Dharma without turning away from the mind, so do not befriend evil deeds. In the middle, it is most important to uphold the vows honestly and practice them, so do not leave the seat without tasting the flavor. In the end, the result is more important than the beginning, so it is most important not to turn away from the end of deeds, do not associate with worldly people. It is most important not to let life be wasted on the path of distraction, so there is no way not to accomplish the Dharma, it is said. Dampa Rinpoche said: The old woman of Stod called Gedun Kyid "Zong nge Zong nge". Jowo's son Lama said, "Gedun Kyid Lag", she said, "I also have a share." Again she called "Zong nge Zong nge". The old woman came to the front, (Dampa Rinpoche) said, "Here Tuku cover the ground with soil." (The old woman) asked, "What do you do with the soil?" (Dampa Rinpoche) said, "It has great use. The seed of affliction the size of a sesame seed"

It is not okay not to practice Dharma without writing anything. On the grave of Dretön, who said that one cannot attain Buddhahood by practicing Dharma, throw a handful of soil. One cannot be liberated without practicing Dharma. On the grave of the teacher Tripar, who said to indulge in delusion and not to meditate, throw a handful of soil. One cannot be liberated by not meditating and entangling oneself with conceptual thoughts. On the grave of Nyang Tripar, who has not even a single precept in his own mind, yet mocks retreat, and keeping vows, throw a handful of soil. A human body without anything to protect is no different from an animal. The master said that there are many people in Dingri (present-day Dingri County, Shigatse Prefecture, Tibet) who need to have soil thrown on them. When asked who these people were, the venerable master said: "Throw soil on the heart of the teacher Chö Sengé, who does not pursue happiness but has great faith in the cause of suffering. Although he experiences suffering piled upon suffering, he does not know what to do. Throw soil on the heart of Nyangmo Chötreng, who does not generate renunciation but accepts future suffering. Throw soil on the heart of Dro Salé, who runs away from happiness and towards suffering. Throw soil on the heart of Kyus Jowo Sé, who knows the difference between good and evil but does not practice acceptance and rejection. Throw soil on the heart of U Tsowo Baré, who, even though his life is coming to an end, has not even a trace of thought about practicing Dharma. Throw soil on the heart of the teacher Tri Sang, who has qualities equal to the sky but does not benefit others, and who, even though the sun has passed its zenith, does not practice the profound meaning. Throw soil on the heart of Jé Tripa, who does not do anything for himself but spends his life busy with the affairs of others. There are many who need to be burned with torches rather than just having soil thrown on them." I wondered what kind of people he was referring to. Knowing this, the master said: "He is referring to those who live for the sake of this life and the next. The small Bodhisattva is one who has realized the ultimate truth, attained the Dharmakaya for his own benefit, and then, through the power of his aspiration, manifests countless Nirmanakayas for the benefit of sentient beings." When asked how much one should do for others, the master said: "After perfecting asceticism, integrate the subsequent attainment into the path, and through the practice of equal taste, integrate the objects that give rise to attachment and aversion. If this does not harm virtuous actions, then one should cultivate the path, entrust the practice to the master, and all the practices."
