When experiencing a clear and bright, ownerless realization, one then thinks: Alas, such wisdom has not arisen before. Compared to this state, all other knowledge seems insignificant, like suffering. The venerable one said, "It is like the feeling after completing a task." I asked: "Venerable one, what is the state of decline?" Kunga replied: "The experience of decline is that later, in daily activities, the previous experience will naturally appear. This comes from the habit of recognizing things as before. Recognize that this is the manifestation of the nature of mind, and then relax the body and mind, and remain comfortable. If one does not recognize that it is the state of mind, what fault will there be? Doubt will arise, thinking: Was the previous meditation not seeing the nature of mind?" The venerable one said, "Because one does not understand one aspect, one will not trust all the teachings." Venerable one, I asked: "How does one enter and exit the stable state of what has been realized?" Kunga replied: "The state of entering is: one no longer clings to things, thoughts decrease, afflictions decrease, and even when singing and dancing, one does not lose the experience. No matter what one does, one feels inseparable from meditation." Kunga, the state of decline is: when one reaches that level, one develops arrogance, thinking that one is close to the fruition and can obtain supernatural powers and abilities, etc. The venerable one said, "Hope is the cause of decline." Venerable one, I asked: "What is the entry and exit of the ultimate stable state?" The venerable one replied: "Kunga, the naturally abiding mind of bliss and emptiness that all sentient beings possess pervades everything and has never been separated. It is only obscured by the influence of fleeting, sudden thoughts. Those ignorant beings only experience suffering. Thinking of this, one feels great compassion and sheds tears, and subtle clairvoyance arises." The state of decline is: one becomes proud and arrogant of one's qualities, thinking: Now I can effortlessly obtain the fruition, do I still need to practice asceticism? Kunga, one should understand faults and merits in this way. Thus it is said. The Mirror of Activities Completely Clear ends here. In general. From the answers of Acharya Nakpo, there are six answers about meaning, which are the fundamental Dharma categories. Understanding the meaning of vowels and consonants.
