Therefore, realizing that it does not go beyond bliss, clarity, and non-conceptualization, one constantly dwells in a state accompanied by meditation. In reality, if the mind is not distracted or interrupted, the thought will arise that "meditation will also not be distracted or interrupted." It is said that this is the view of naturally abiding. I asked a holy person for the essential instructions on meditation, and he replied: Although meditation has never been separated from the nature of the mind, in order to dispel the obscurations of conceptualization for those who are not sharp in their faculties, it is still necessary to practice through familiarization. I then asked: Then, for those who are sharp, is meditation not necessary? He replied: For those who are sharp, when the lama points out the nature of the mind, they have already reached the state where the object and mind are blended, so there is no need to learn through familiarization later, because they abide in the nature. I then asked: Then, what should those who are not sharp do? He replied: After pointing out the nature of the mind, meditation is divided into three stages: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. First, in a place that is agreeable to the mind, lay out a comfortable cushion, possessing the five branches of meditation, sit comfortably, and pray to the root lama and the lineage lamas. Think that all sentient beings are without suffering, that the nature of mind is already liberated from samsara, and that the nature of mind is also liberated from suffering, so sentient beings should not be dominated by suffering. The fault of sentient beings' nature appearing is due to being affected by sudden influences, which is truly pitiful. For the benefit of these sentient beings, I must attain the state of Vajrasattva and purify the faults and conceptualizations of sentient beings. The main practice is divided into three stages: entering, abiding, and rising. First, relax the body and mind, and let the nature of mind, which has been previously identified and recognized, abide naturally. Then, do not force, indulge, or gather the mind, but let the mind abide naturally, remain as it is, and remain in its natural state, so that the realization of the nature of mind will arise. Second, when abiding in this way, the realization of the nature of mind, as well as the good experiences of bliss, emptiness, clarity, and non-conceptualization, will arise. In this state, in a way that pervades all things, abide without sinking or dullness, and without agitation or scattering. If sinking or agitation occurs, do not regard it as a fault, and do not try to eliminate it, but rather place the conceptualization well upon itself and abide. If it is not like this, but you want to eliminate sinking and agitation, it is like mistaking a rope for a snake and running away, it is difficult to eliminate conceptualization. Third,

For beginners, the meditation time should be short. Rejoice in the absence of the enemy of dullness and agitation. For the benefit of meditators, After making aspirations, rise. Thus, by parting well without being at odds with meditation, later, desiring the essence of meditation without getting tired, finally, having the qualities of the guru, and afterwards, having the qualities of bodily comfort. Dullness and agitation both are equal in the nature of mind, thoughts of self-appearing arise. At that time, by entrusting to that very nature, the appearance of the nature of each and every one will arise. Now, finally, those who have realization, at the time of working together, Mixing desire, reliance, and behavior is: If the realization of self-appearing does not change and can abide continuously day and night, then meditation will be stable and become excellent. Even when rising from meditation, if the experience of meditation, bliss-emptiness-clarity, and non-conceptualization arise clearly, that is a sign of stability. Holy one, when that happens, what kind of conduct should be done? Kunga (person's name). One should enter the realm of equal taste, There are three ways: entering naturally, entering clearly, and entering forcefully. The first is: Going alone to a secluded place, sitting, eating, walking, speaking, singing, and dancing, etc., entering into these activities, and without separating from the experience of bliss-emptiness-clarity, one should train in the nature of one's own mind. Clear entry is: In a secluded place, whether meditating or not, even if one abides in bliss-emptiness-clarity, if the experience becomes unclear after mixing with others, then one should abide together with friends who do not generate attachment and aversion. Forceful entry is: When encountering strong circumstances, one should train in stabilizing the experience of bliss-emptiness in people and cities where attachment and aversion arise. Afterwards, if one abides in bliss-emptiness without being harmed by whatever appears, realizing that everything is mind, ༄༅། །that is stable. It is said that view, meditation, appearance, and existence will merge into one and become stable. How do the signs of warmth from practice arise? The holy one asked. Kun ga. First, there is the experience of the mind being grasped, second, the experience of being grasped becoming stable, and third, the experience of stability reaching completion. When asked about the meaning of these, it was answered: All three of these have both entering and returning. First, at the time of the mind being grasped, the experience of entering is: In meditation, bliss-emptiness-clarity.
