Practice, giving without fruit and without aspiration. Moreover, if all dharmas are determined to be emptiness, then all dharmas of clinging to reality are liberated in their own place, therefore the gate of liberation is the gate of emptiness. Cutting off the attachment to the appearance of the self-nature of the path, therefore the gate of signlessness is opened. Realizing the fruit as emptiness, therefore the gate of wishlessness is opened. Among them, first, one should distinguish from the gate of practicing the four armors, entering emptiness with the armor of entering, so that all dharmas of appearance and sound abide in emptiness from the time of appearance, and while abiding in emptiness, on the unexamined face, they appear in various ways, so all dharmas of samsara and nirvana are realized as the way of non-duality of appearance and emptiness, with samadhi focusing on appearance and abiding, and entering samadhi in the state of emptiness. Concentrating the mind, one should strive in the four conducts of walking, staying, sitting, and lying down with mindfulness. With the armor of returning, one should return from clinging to reality, and by realizing the meaning of emptiness, all clinging to reality of the base is completely cut off. With the armor of view, one should realize the reality of things with the wisdom born of thought. With the armor of wisdom, one should cut off the addition and slander to the meaning realized by the view, and experience its meaning. This wisdom should also have two meanings, stable wisdom that cannot be shaken by the four maras, like a mountain king, and profound wisdom that cannot be fathomed by the four maras, like the sea. Second, the path of signlessness is when the antidote cuts off what is to be abandoned, if one focuses on the path, and falls into signs, then one is bound by attachment to the path, so one should know that the antidote itself should not be grasped as real. One should know that both what is to be abandoned and the antidote are not to be focused on, like the center of the sky. First, examine where your own mind comes from, examine in the continuum, and fail to find the cause of where it comes from. Where is it now? What is its shape and color? With discriminating wisdom, examine the nature of the mind where it arises, and as a result, nothing is obtained, and one should enter samadhi in the meaning like the sky. Also, the mind of practice itself is repeatedly examined with discriminating wisdom, and as a result

Remaining in equanimity in the meaning like the sky, which has not been found, is the path, One should cut off clinging to characteristics. Afterwards, if one clings to the antidote, because one does not see the mind of the Buddha, one does not taste the flavor after cutting off delusion. Do not chase after it. The holy ones have said: It is said that when a lamp searches for and finds a jewel, one should not cling to the lamp. Meditating on an objectless state and meditating on the antidote of the objectless state, these two are called the yoga of non-abiding and the yoga of non-yoga. Among the four equanimities that are taught, meditating on the objectless antidote is taught as the yoga of realizing the equanimity of the object. The gate of liberation, without aspiration, is that when the nature of one's own mind becomes manifest, and one is completely purified from defilements, one attains the result. Therefore, realizing that the result is not to be obtained from elsewhere, one understands the meaning of without aspiration, and thus opens the gate of without aspiration. The pith instructions for entrusting practice to one's own nature have been taught. Regarding the method of practicing the meaning of the pith instructions for entrusting the four truths, in general, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are included in the four truths. Scattered, meaning-seeking, conceptual objects are not excluded from the four truths. Among them, the truth of the origin is the afflictions and the actions instigated by them. The way in which the origin arises in the continuum is: the basis, the meaning of emptiness that is beyond thought and expression, is grasped as a real entity, and delusion arises from the co-emergent ignorance that does not know the true nature of emptiness. If one asks from what time delusion arises, even the Buddha could not find the beginning of samsara. Specifically, delusion arises from grasping the aggregates as self. Because of the entry of grasping the aggregates as self, attachment arises depending on favorable circumstances, aversion arises depending on unfavorable circumstances, and ignorance arises depending on neutral circumstances. From the three poisons, the five poisons arise. This is called the conceptual thought that is the basis of universal affliction. For example, it is like the ground in summer, where various things grow. The way it becomes a cause is: like yellow earth, from among the five poisons, desire arises; from among the five elements, water arises; from among the five diseases, cold disease arises; from among the five ailments, lethargy arises; from among the five demons, female demons arise.
