When the nectar touches the root letters of the vows, think that all the channels and elements of your body have become deities and goddesses. Then, all aggregates, elements, and sense bases will naturally become completely pure. Then, secondly, the secret nectar empowerment is to be performed: Taking the nectar of the Bhāṇḍa with the ring finger, reciting "Abhiṣiñca Oṃ (ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨྰོྃ།, Abhiṣiñca Oṃ, Consecrate Oṃ)", placing a drop on the forehead, contemplate that Oṃ (ཨྰོྃ།, Oṃ, Oṃ) itself is the body, appearing white, filling the vessel. Reciting "Abhiṣiñca Āḥ (ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨྰཿ, Abhiṣiñca Āḥ, Consecrate Āḥ)", placing a drop on the throat, contemplate that Āḥ (ཨཱཿ, Āḥ, Āḥ) itself is speech, appearing red Amitābha, filling the vessel. Reciting "Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ (ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ།, Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ, Consecrate Hūṃ)", placing a drop on the heart, contemplate that Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ།, Hūṃ, Hūṃ) itself is mind, blue Akṣobhya, filling the vessel. Reciting "Abhiṣiñca Hrīḥ (ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧྲྰིཿ, Abhiṣiñca Hrīḥ, Consecrate Hrīḥ)", placing a drop on the navel, contemplate that Hrīḥ (ཧྲྰིཿ, Hrīḥ, Hrīḥ) itself is quality, blue Ratnasambhava, filling the vessel. These four deities can also be visualized as peaceful and wrathful forms, as a single hero, or as a father and mother, whichever you prefer, and should be remembered again and again. In order to stabilize this secret empowerment, recite "Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (ཨོྃ་ཨྰཿཧཱུྃ།, Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ, Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ)" over the nectar of the Bhāṇḍa, and have the disciples drink it completely in three times. Then, all the heroes and heroines of the channels, led by the deities of the four chakras, will be pleased, and a good experience of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality will arise. Then, thirdly, the four wisdom-jñāna empowerments are to be conferred. This is an introduction to the essential meaning. There are three points here: First, the source of the practice: The perfectly enlightened Buddha Śākyamuni, at the foot of the great stūpa of enlightenment in the northern region of Kumbhīra, combined the three points into one and purified awareness. Thus, he recognized the essence of mind as emptiness, and self-aware jñāna awakened from within. However, because the immeasurable and inconceivable power of jñāna did not arise, he stayed on the banks of the great river Nairañjanā for six years of asceticism. Observing the five coarse and subtle conceptualizations of the five poisons with his five eyes, the rootless conceptualizations dissolved on their own, and the inconceivable power of jñāna arose. Later, when turning the middle wheel of Dharma, the assembled

Indicating the five eyes as the symbolic sign of the connection between samsara and nirvana, the noble Avalokiteśvara truly understood the meaning of the profound symbol. Shariputra asked about this well. Most of the assembled retinue understood the meaning of the symbol and discussed it. Ananda summarized it. The lineage of meaning was entrusted to Maitreya. The noble Asanga requested it from him. From Vasubandhu, Aryadeva, and the venerable Ratna, the three lineages of words were formed. Secondly, the fundamental meaning is now the method of transmitting this to the disciple's continuum: The illusory wheel of the body is practiced as the seven postures of Vairochana. The illusory wheel of speech settles the five winds in the central channel. Abandon the conceptual thoughts of wanting to meditate, which is the illusory wheel of mind. Relying on the five eyes, which is the illusory wheel of heart, separate the conceptual thoughts from the root. That is, first, for the unmanifested conceptual thoughts of ignorance, look with eyes closed like a turtle. Second, for the extremely subtle conceptual thoughts of desire, look with eyes half-closed like the back of a conch shell. Third, for the slightly subtle conceptual thoughts of hatred, look like a drawn bow, like a crescent moon. Fourth, for the coarse conceptual thoughts, such as jealousy, it is called the kidney-like eye, looking straight ahead. For the extremely coarse conceptual thoughts of pride, it is called the full moon-like eye, gazing with wide eyes at the sky. In short, whichever of the five eyes one looks with, one must press down the upper air, draw up the lower air, cut off the moving air, tighten the muscles, and bind the air and mind to the luminosity of clear light. When the clarity increases, break through and practice. Afterwards, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana will be experienced in selflessness. Thirdly, the method of measuring the warmth is: First, it is called the time of gazing at the face of the victorious mother, which is gazing at the guru's eyes. Second, it is called the time of seeing the face, which is imitating the guru. Third, it is called the time of making it habitual, which is practicing until it becomes habitual. Fourth, it is called the time of manifestation, which is when one knows that all conceptual thoughts have been cut off from the root, then there is no need to specifically look with the five eyes. When practicing in this way, in order to stabilize the meaning of the third empowerment, all forms, sounds, memories, and concepts
