It does not exist, It is not so, because the body generates body consciousness, and body consciousness generates you. The root cause is not established, because the rise and fall of the body leads to the generation of attachment and aversion. If someone says: At times, the body grows, that is, prospers, and other attachments and aversions that grow from prosperity and decline, etc., are not directly produced from the rise and fall of the body, because they are produced in the cycle of pleasure and pain of body consciousness. Such pleasure and pain are also a dharma, a similar dharma. It arises from the consciousness produced from the differences in internal sensory experiences such as the balance and imbalance of the elements, as just mentioned. Memory loss, etc., caused by aggregative diseases and viruses, etc., are not directly caused by aggregative diseases and viruses, etc., but are changed by the sensory consciousness produced by the differences in internal sensory experiences caused by aggregative diseases, etc. That is what is said. For example, in some kinds of lizards, hearing the sound of a tiger or leopard, or seeing blood, etc., can cause coma and fainting, etc. Therefore, the body is not the direct cause of the mind. The greed, etc., in the mind-consciousness cycle depends on the mind as its immediate cause, because without the mind, they would not arise. Therefore, it must be caused by the actions of the previous moment of mind. If it depends on the previous moment of mind, then at times, for the body of those who have eliminated hearing, etc., the merits of hearing, etc., will become clear, because this is no different from clear wisdom. If sentient beings come from previous lives, then it is unreasonable to come to unclean places such as the womb. Ordinary sentient beings, because they are attached to the self, desire to obtain and abandon suffering and happiness, driven by desire, are not guided by other forces, but voluntarily accept inferior places such as the womb. The reason for this is that clinging to suffering as happiness in a reversed way, and craving for happiness, are the causes of ordinary beings being born in the womb, etc., because they bind beings there. An Arhat will not be born by the power of karma and afflictions, because you (referring to the Arhat) do not have wrong craving in your continuum. The heretic says: If you say they do not exist because you have not seen the coming and going of previous and future lives, Heretic, your eyes have not seen the intermediate state. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is impossible to achieve without (karma). You didn't see it because your senses are unclear, not because it doesn't exist. For example, just as with unclear eyes, even if there is a small amount of smoke, it cannot be seen. So, the dharma of the bardo (state), necessarily has obstacles, because it has a body? The dharma of knowable (things), this is not universally applicable. Because some who have bodies, due to purity, some who have bodies can see without obstacles, like water in unfiltered soil, like mercury in gold. Therefore, the dharma of knowable (things), the bardo (state) is not seen by those with distant vision, therefore concluding that it does not exist, this is not universally applicable. Even if they don't see it, yogis with divine eyes and beings in the bardo (state) can see it. Examining the body, preventing the body from being the immediate cause of consciousness, if the body is the immediate cause of consciousness, then it is either a whole without parts or not a whole. The first case is impossible, because there is no such case, or if one hand etc. moves, then the whole body will move, because there is such a fault. For example, the unmoving foot, necessarily moves, because it is one with the moving hand. If the reason is not established, then the human body is a whole without parts, this is wrong. Because things with contradictory functions cannot be one, one thing cannot have two contradictory properties. If it is said that the limbs that move the hands etc. do not have the fault of not moving, then the limbs such as the hands of the person who moves the hands etc., necessarily are established as different from the limbs of his body and the places where they exist. Otherwise, i.e., if they and you are the same body, then one moves and one does not move. The limbs such as the hand of a person, if you are obscured, then all the limbs will be obscured, because you and it are a whole without parts. If that is the case, the limbs are obscured, but the whole on which the limbs depend is not obscured? Then, the body with half of its limbs obscured, necessarily will be directly seen, because it has something visible that is not obscured. For example, if one part of the face is painted with paint, and the rest is not painted, then the remaining limbs that are not painted, necessarily will be painted, because it is one with the painted face. The painted face, necessarily will be directly recognized as unpainted, because it is one with the remaining limbs that are not painted. The acceptance of the reason is as before. The body of the collection of limbs, is not a single entity without parts, because it is harmed by the above faults. Commentators etc. say that the shape of a vase is merely an aggregation of many particles. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
