If it is thought that: newly born attachment (Tibetan: ཆགས་པ་, Meaning: attachment) is a phenomenon, then, it must be born from equal causes and conditions, because it is a wisdom that has not arisen in the body. If admitted, then, sentient beings (Tibetan: སེམས་ཅན་, Meaning: sentient beings) are phenomena, then, it must be established that there is a previous life, because attachment before the newly born attachment has been established. Refuting the argument that karma etc. are the cause of arising: Third, although in the twelve links of dependent origination, karma, craving, and ignorance are all said to be the cause of existence, why is only craving shown as the cause? Ignorance, i.e., ignorance (Tibetan: མ་རིག་པ་, Meaning: ignorance) is a phenomenon, even if it is the cause of craving, there is a reason why it is not said to be a direct cause, because merely existing in your continuum does not necessarily lead to the arising of samsara, like an Arhat. Craving (Tibetan: སྲེད་པ་, Meaning: craving) is a phenomenon, among karma, craving, and ignorance, it is reasonable that you are said to be the direct cause of intense suffering, because you directly throw the continuum into existence, and immediately upon your existence in the continuum, samsara arises. Karma (Tibetan: ལས་, Meaning: karma) is a phenomenon, not the direct cause of intense suffering of samsara, because when you exist in the continuum, a person does not necessarily arise in samsara, like the karma of an Arhat. Cessation of Suffering: The third is the truth of cessation, which is divided into two parts: showing the existence of the cessation of suffering, and refuting others' arguments about it. The first part: the truth of suffering (Tibetan: སྡུག་བདེན་, Meaning: the truth of suffering) is not eternal, because it arises from its own continuum. This is universal, because the cause may hinder its arising. The second part is divided into three parts: raising the argument, giving one's own answer, and refuting the argument. The first part: this being (Tibetan: སྲོག་ཆགས་, Meaning: being) is a phenomenon, then, it must not be able to be liberated from samsara, because it is a phenomenon of samsara. If it is thought that: The second part: because I think of myself as constant samsara and liberation, such a consequence is not harmful to Buddhists, because you can answer with what Buddhists do not accept and the reason is not established, because I am not constant. The third part is divided into four parts: refuting the claim that without self, there is no bondage and liberation, refuting the claim that without attachment, samsara cannot exist, refuting the claim that if self-grasping is the cause of existence, then the two paths are meaningless, and showing the reason why self-bondage and liberation are not reasonable. The first part: if there is no self, then there will be no effort to obtain or abandon happiness and suffering. If it is thought that: Until the habitual tendencies are not destroyed, the mind will not remain in the nature of happiness. Until then, it will fabricate itself as suffering and be completely tormented by suffering, therefore seeking liberation is meaningful, even if there is no liberator, even if there is no self, striving for the path of liberation is meaningful, because without it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moreover, it is composed to refute the imputation of reverting to a self. Secondly, if one asks, 'Then it is unreasonable for one free from attachment to remain in samsara, is it?' It is not definite. Some who are free from attachment and remain in samsara, do not remain in samsara for the sake of their own happiness or out of attachment to sentient beings, but because they are without attachment, with compassion focused on the suffering of conditioned phenomena, they remain in samsara for a while for the sake of sentient beings. Because the power of their own previous karma, the continuum of aggregates remains for a while; because the continuum of aggregates propelled by previous karma remains in samsara, they are indifferent to it, without wanting to abandon it. If one free from attachment remains due to karma, will they still connect to existence? If so, an arhat who has completely transcended the craving for existence does not have the karma that can propel them into another existence, because the co-emergent craving that propels them there has ceased. If it is unreasonable for one free from attachment to remain with compassion, because compassion is associated with seeing sentient beings, and they do not have that, then, The compassion of one free from attachment is not ignorance associated with seeing sentient beings and what follows, but because they directly know the aspects of suffering, such as impermanence, and are accustomed to the uncontrived compassion in a continuum free from hatred, it is a natural quality of mind. If one necessarily has attachment if one has compassion, then the compassion of one free from attachment is not desire, because it only perceives the continuum of suffering and is free from imputing permanence etc. to the aggregates, so it will be born. Universally, if it is a mind that clings and is attached, then it must impute other permanent etc. entities to phenomena such as aggregates that are not of the nature of permanence etc., i.e., things. If compassion is hatred, because an unpleasant thought arises towards the one who harms, then, One free from attachment will not generate anger from the cause of afflictions, because there is no delusion. Universally, delusion is the root of afflictions. How is that? Because grasping at sentient beings is ignorance. The compassion of one free from attachment should not be considered hatred, because it is a mind without self-grasping. If one free from attachment remains due to karma, then are they not liberated from samsara? A Hearer Arhat, even if they remain due to karma, is not without liberation from samsara, because they will not be propelled into samsara in this life.
