Ah! The sorrow of the yogi's mind is dispelled, with the unattached, azure, clear water, severing the name of wrong livelihood, youth flourishes, and the mind becomes as clear and stainless as the autumn moon. In such a place, whether it be a deep cave or a house built of smooth white stone slabs, in the cool shade bound by a network of trees, on a soft and fluffy grass cushion, in the posture of turning the wheel of Vairochana, the vajra body is bound immovably and upright. Cutting off meaningless chatter, the lips are as still as if painted. Constantly urging oneself with the remembrance of impermanence and death, there is no time to sit idly for even a moment. Bearing the burden of all mother sentient beings, I strive only for unsurpassed enlightenment. The profound essence of the path, the path of the guru, the embodiment of the Three Jewels is my guru. The incomparable Jetsun Dorinpa (personal name), the guide of the three lineages, Heruka. I prostrate with my head to the lotus feet of this infallible protector, offering my body, life, and possessions without reservation. From the depths of my heart, with unwavering faith, I pray day and night. With the water of the four empowerments, purify the obscurations of the three doors of body, speech, and mind, may I see the innate, primordial guru of my own mind in nakedness, and enjoy the feast of inseparable bliss, alala! Now, this breeze of my truthful words, Will dispel all the darkness of your mistaken thoughts. May the white light of Dharma-filled actions increase! From within the darkness of the three realms of samsara, This precious opportunity of a leisure and fortune rebirth, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, Is obtained effortlessly, only this once! It will not stay long; it will quickly perish. Child, if you are wise, you should contemplate these things. Having contemplated them, turn your mind towards the Dharma. Due to the power of negative actions accumulated in past lives, You will wander aimlessly in the ocean of samsara, Eventually being cast onto the shores of the three lower realms. This body is like an autumn flower, Unreliable, it will wither and pass away. Look at the condition of those who are now trembling and shaking, The elderly and frail! Wealth is like the honey collected by bees, alluring, Even if accumulated, there is no certainty that you will enjoy it. Look at those who have gone from being rich to beggars, Look at the corpses of those who died leaving behind their wealth! Child, if you are wise, you should contemplate these things. Having contemplated them, turn your mind towards the Dharma. Attachment to desirable objects is like drinking saltwater, The more you indulge, the stronger the thirst becomes. There will never be a time of satisfaction. Therefore, cultivate few desires and contentment. Child, if you are wise, you should contemplate these things. Having contemplated them, turn your mind towards the Dharma. Friends, women are the source of leading one astray. They first steal your discipline and physical strength, Then you are unable to provide for your children and family, Finally, they separate from you forever in suffering. Like knowingly drinking poison, intoxicating alcohol, After drinking it, the body becomes weak and the complexion fades, The mind becomes deranged, like a madman.
