To be ordained as a monk in order to protect (him), and to cut off doubts with extensive study and contemplation, the situation is as follows: 1-34 As mentioned above, he had a strong desire to be ordained from an early age, and in particular, he viewed all of Samsara as the nature of suffering, like a pit of fire. He believed that the main method of liberation from it was the training of superior discipline. He knew that among all those who uphold the Dharma, those who wear the saffron flag (robes) are the most excellent, so he soon decided to be ordained. One night, in a clear vision that blended dream and luminosity, he went to the Labrang (official residence) of Ewam Choden Monastery. He met with the Regent Lama Kunga Wangchukpa and asked where the great Vajradhara (Buddhist term, referring to the holder of the Vajra) was, and was told that he was in Yabchen. So he went to request blessings, and (the Lama) said, 'From the hair, you are suitable to be a monk.' and made some 'then then' gestures. When he woke up, he felt his hair was hot. Immediately, he abandoned the royal wealth, which was like ashes of spit, without any attachment, like a snake shedding its skin, and with one or two attendants who obeyed his orders, he went to the temple of the great Dharma monastery Grawang. In front of the incomparable Sherab Dawa, at the age of thirty-seven, in the year called 'Natsok Yik', he was ordained. 1-35 He was given the name Kunsang Chokyi Nyima Lodan Sherab Kunga Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo. Like a terrifying dark snake pit, Where venomous snakes coil, defiled by saliva. The source of a hundred faults, the joys of household life, Not even in a dream is there attachment. The guide from previous lives, Urges again and again with words. The bright red monastic robe, Covers the captivating object of the heart. After that, the manner of taking the full ordination vows was: he was attracted by the fame of the master he went to visit, the great Vajradhara Lodroe Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, and went to request Dharma teachings, and also visited Sakya Monastery, as well as the doctor called Man Ngor Dorje Phunang Tso Kye Pa, etc. He met with the great Vajradhara and listened to the Dharma teachings as appropriate. Before leaving, (the master said) that nowadays the Buddha's teachings are nearing decline, and those who uphold the teachings... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since even holy beings are exceedingly rare, it is imperative that you continue to bear the great responsibility of propagating the glorious Sakya (Sakya) teachings and the entire Buddha Dharma (Buddha Dharma), and I also request that you serve as my preceptor (Upadhyaya) for bhiksu ordination (bhiksu ordination). It is said that there are annual teachings and discourses at your residence, so please bestow immeasurable blessings of the Dharma as well.' After presenting these requests, Nangpa (Nangpa) was very surprised and said, 'Among those who now claim to be spiritual friends (Kalyanamitra), few would say, "You should think of the Dharma." You are a prominent figure in the Rinpungpa (Rinpungpa) family, so how could you not be able to do it? If it can be done, I will certainly do as you say.' He gladly agreed, accepted the request with unwavering faith, and mustered the strength of diligence, like a swan longing for a lotus lake, and went to the glorious Sakya Monastery (Sakya Monastery). There, among the sangha who possessed all the qualities of a preceptor, the master of the Vajra (Vajra), the crown jewel of all Vinaya holders—the great Vidyadhara (Vidyadhara) Dharma King, and the leader of the sangha—Lhatsunpa (Lhatsunpa) Acharya (Acharya), who adorned his neck with countless Vinaya (Vinaya), he received the bhiksu ordination in accordance with the Dharma, thus entering the Buddhist order and obtaining the complete precepts. From that time on, he guarded all the subtle precepts like the apple of his eye, never stepping out of line. Especially for many years, he adhered to the ascetic practice of using only one cushion at all times. The room where he lived was filled with the fragrance of morality, and even those around him felt refreshed and delighted, which was an obvious fact. Pure morality is like the sandalwood of Mount Malaya (Malaya), strict self-discipline is like the lush forest of Haricandana (Haricandana), and the refreshing fragrance of fresh camphor wafts, this unprecedented garden has become the glory of the Dharma. Ah! Your body is as clear as Lake Manasarovar (Mapam Yumtso), your robes are like fresh Indian (Sindhu) cloth, covered with a red glow, reflecting the colorful clouds in the sky. At this time, the Venerable Ananda (Ananda) might quietly leave out of shame, or perhaps the Pandita (Pandita) Yonten Wo (Yonten Wo) has come to the north. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
