Having long been accustomed to noble conduct, he did not engage in even the slightest frivolous behavior, being gentle and humble. His playfulness also consisted of teaching the Dharma, giving empowerments, making offerings, and other virtuous activities, spending his time in this way. Once, he hid in a stone cave, and after everyone searched for him, his mother asked him why. He said, 'I thought of escaping from the monks.' Regarding reading and so on, with just a slight hint, he effortlessly mastered them. When he was very young, a great evil spirit transformed into the form of a dog and came before him. With the pride of the generation stage, he performed self-protection, and the terrible sound of the evil spirit fleeing far away was heard by others outside, and everyone spoke of it with amazement. With great conduct, he firmly stepped forward, leaving behind ordinary jokes. From a young age, he possessed the wisdom of an elder, spending his days and nights in the light of the Dharma. The vicious demon who came in the guise of a dog was driven to the far shore of the ocean by the blazing Vajra of self-protection, and its wailing sound was clearly heard by the ears of the people outside. When he was about five years old, he knew the Torma ritual of Gonpo Gur (Mahakala Gur) without being taught, and when he offered the twenty-nine kinds of Tormas, including the Palbar Torma, to the Sakya direction, he effortlessly saw things like 'The Dharma protector is here.' Sometimes, when he said, 'The Dharma protectors have come,' there would be great changes such as thunder and the house shaking. Furthermore, he said, 'I used to be a Lama of Upper and Lower Tibet, with such qualities, wealth, and Sangha.' At the age of six, he met Jetsun Ngawangpa Kunga Zangpo, the great Vajradhara of the degenerate age prophesied by Gyalwa himself, He obtained unwavering faith and received some empowerments, transmissions, and subsequent permissions. He said, 'I must become a monk.' Jetsun Ngawangpa replied, 'You are now the only son of Dorinpa, so you cannot become a monk. Later, if you have brothers, then become a monk. You will become a great Sakya Path and Fruit lineage holder. In a previous life, you seem to have been one of my monks.' And so on, he cared for him with great love as if he were his only son, and their minds became as one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To! You are the master of all lineages, Vajradhara (Holder of the Vajra). Evaṁpa (A Kagyu Lineage Master), wearing the crimson monastic robes. With the profound meaning of the Northern Vajrayana (Diamond Vehicle). You are the guide who turns the Wheel of Dharma (Dharmacakra). The fresh lotus petals at your feet. Are tightly woven into the diadem of jewels on your head. Thousands of waves of faith and reverence. Merge into the ocean of the heart of that protector. From the auspicious vase of your white face. Flows the nectar of prophecy and sacred Dharma. You scoop it up with the palms of your wisdom. And give birth to whatever good fortune arises. Like the mirror of the fierce deity's crown. Even the finest markings of mountain beasts are clear. From your youth, in that sea of heart. Countless reflections of the ocean of Dharma Protectors (Dharmapala) arise. Thus, the venerable great Vajradhara (Holder of the Vajra), through the power of unwavering faith from a previous life's teacher-student relationship. When the great Vajradhara (Holder of the Vajra) was considering the benefit of others, his parents and others kept it very secret. Once, when the sky was clear and a great rain of flowers fell, a servant heard someone say that it was a sign of the passing of the Dharma Lord Vajradhara (Holder of the Vajra). You were so worried that you fell down the stairs and fainted. Others guessed that the Khenpo (Abbot) of Narthang Monastery had passed away and comforted you with this, and you only slightly recovered. It is said that you possessed such qualities of faith and reverence from a young age. It is said that when you were sixteen years old, at Samdrubtse, the Pandita (Scholar) Padmasambhava (Founder of Tibetan Buddhism) prophesied that you were the incarnate king of Dharma Protectors (Dharmapala), Lhasras Mutri Tsenpo. You went with your father to pay respects to Rinpung Norbu Sangpo, offered gifts, and made him very happy. He gave you a Kapala bowl (skull cup) filled with alcohol and asked you to drink it. Your father said that you were young and might get drunk. He said, 'No, we Rinpung family need an outstanding talent, and a good yogi is likely to appear.' You drank all the alcohol and covered your head with the Kapala bowl (skull cup), and he said it was a very auspicious sign, very happy, but you did not show any signs of drunkenness. From then on, until the ruler passed away, you stayed by his side in a wonderful manner for about six years, serving as the meal officer. You cared for his diet and daily life with compassion, even more than for his own sons. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
