I had a dream where I was going from a very high place, said to be going to Akanishta (Tibetan: ས་འོག་མིན་, referring to the highest realm of the Form Realm in Buddhism, the highest state of practice), and then I went. 1-110 (The Guru) said, 'It's just a dream, why bother going to Akanishta?' He also said, 'Recently, all appearances dissolve into pure light, and sometimes red and green letters appear from within it, and when I try to read them, they disappear.' I was doubtful about this, so I requested the Guru to consider with great compassion the benefit of the teachings and sentient beings in general, and especially for us sentient beings who have no other protector or refuge, and to pray that your lotus feet may remain for a long time. (The Guru replied:) 'If I don't die this year, I'm not sure I'll live to be a hundred years old, but that's probably how it is now. Even great accomplished masters like Dharma Lord Dorje Chang (Tibetan: ཆོས་རྗེ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཆེན་པོ་, referring to the great Vajradhara Dharma Lord), who are the pillars of the teachings with their mastery of both theory and practice, only lived to be seventy-five years old, and everyone says they completed their lives. I'm about that age this year. I'm seventy-two years old, and I have no regrets about my samaya vows (Tibetan: ཐུགས་ཟིན་སྡོམ་པ་དང་དམ་ཚིག་). From the first time I attained Lamdre (Tibetan: ལམ་འབྲས་, Path with Result) until now, I have never missed the Lamdre Four Session Practice (Tibetan: ལམ་བསྡུས་ཐུན་བཞི་མ་). I have also done my best to benefit the teachings and sentient beings. Now it is up to you to take over my responsibilities.' Jetsun Rinpoche (Tibetan: རྗེ་བཙུན་རིན་པོ་ཆེས་) taught at a feast: 'If you constantly practice Guru Yoga, you will become inseparable from the Guru.' 1-111 Our Kadampa (Tibetan: བཀའ་གདམས་པ་) master Jowo Je (Tibetan: ཇོ་བོ་རྗེ, referring to Atisha) said: 'The snake sheds its skin, but the snake does not change. The way I show death is the same as Atisha (Sanskrit: Atiśa).' Therefore, those of you who have faith are inseparable from me. Not only you, but also those who trust you, I will protect. Achang Chöje (Tibetan: ཨ་ཅང་ཆོས་རྗེའི་) thought of the emptiness manifestation of the Guru, It is written in the sayings of Drokmi Lotsawa (Tibetan: འབྲོག་མི་ལོ་ཙཱ་བ་): 'Even if the Guru is in hell (Tibetan: མནར་མེད་), if the disciple still regards the Guru as his Buddha and prays, then the blessings of the Buddha will enter the disciple's mindstream, and there is no difference in the nature of these two, which is an interdependent origination.' This will definitely happen. (The Guru continued:) 'I still have some unfinished Dharma teachings, and because I am concerned about some people who do not have good karma, I sometimes give them secretly in a small teahouse. Sometimes, in the manner of walking outside on the grass or circumambulating a stupa (Tibetan: མཆོད་རྟེན་), I would have an attendant follow me, and then when there was no one else around, I would give Dharma teachings through gestures and other means.' Dharma Lord (Tibetan: ཆོས་རྗེ་) had wanted to tell me these things a long time ago, but he had been delayed by busyness and laziness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's okay now, everything is arranged properly, please rest assured. Furthermore, he spoke many wonderful prophecies about the past, present, and future, but now is not the time to talk about them, because those with wrong views will only accumulate negative karma from it, so I will not write about it here. Afterwards, he seemed to be affected by the shadow of a sinful person, and began to show symptoms of difficulty breathing and physical weakness, which lasted for many days. We prayed and consulted a doctor. The doctor sometimes felt that his pulse was not normal, but it would soon return to normal, which was unbelievable. The master himself was also mostly in a state of meditation, and sometimes recited some prayers of exchanging self and others. He was even more kind to the attendants than before, often laughing heartily. At that time, he said, 'I have always regarded the hand bell of Dagchen (Tibetan: བདག་ཆེན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ, meaning: Great Holder) Rinpoche as my vow vajra bell. Apart from this bell, the vow book, the Lamdre scriptures, and the alms bowl, I have nothing. Now, I am ready to give up all of this.' He had been giving such teachings, seemingly preparing to go to other pure lands. He gave me the vajra bell that I now have in my hand. He said, 'Please ring this dharma bell and receive the initiation.' Although I had not requested it before, I was worried that it might bring bad omens in his unwell state, so I did not offer the request and just watched from the side. Once, he took some nectar pills made by Dagchen Rinpoche from the guards, as well as some powdered holy nectar pills, and a ritual book for making nectar pills written by Dagchen Rinpoche. He said, 'The lineage of the venerable one's pills is at Ladrang Sharwa (Tibetan: བླ་བྲང་ཤར་བ, meaning: Eastern Monastery), where there is a skull cup for practice, and you, as a close person, can easily obtain it.' It is said that when Dagchen Rinpoche was making nectar pills, he received three prophecies from dakinis: 'Whoever eats this nectar pill will attain enlightenment within twelve lifetimes.' Dagchen Rinpoche had instructed me to make nectar pills, but I never had the opportunity. Now, please make the nectar pills.' He gently patted my left arm twice with his hand. I said, 'Even a great bodhisattva like you did not succeed at first.' He said, 'Don't worry, as long as you follow this ritual written by Dagchen Rinpoche, you will surely succeed.' That's it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
