Just by announcing it or posting it on the door, etc., one becomes victorious over whatever harm from spirits there may be, which is established as a common perception and experience. Once, when (he) was staying in the Ganlung area, there were many men and women who claimed to be gods and demons, and many with masked faces. They said in unison, 'Whatever command you give, we will not disobey. Wherever your handprint is, our eyes will not be able to see that direction, so please, you must grant our request.' Similarly, for those afflicted by illness, (He) helped them through medicine and the blessings of auspicious connections. He also frequently provided refuge for many criminals who were fearful of the king's punishment, saving their lives. In general, he offered reasons to Sho nga II to reduce the tax of Sengge tse, and for many years, these people had been hiding there, freeing the guests going to the government from the threat of robbers and thieves. Like this, his pure altruistic actions and activities are inconceivable. The stream of nectar from the mouth of power and might, Through the magic of outer, inner, and secret connections, Opens a hundred doors of samadhi for many fortunate ones, Unravels all the knots of obstacles in the channels and winds. I praise the words of the venerable lama, And proclaim the greatness of the profound oral teachings in all directions. Like the conduct of the yogi master Padmasambhava, Your holy biography is unparalleled. With your wisdom, power, and splendor, You pacify the minds of all beings in the three realms. Humbly bowing at your lotus feet, I offer your command as an ornament on my head. Thinking that you are the only one worthy To be the protector of the wretched beings of the snowy land, Padmasambhava, from the summit of Ngayab Palri, Riding on the radiance of the rising sun, arrived in an instant. In that pure white garden of joy, The glorious and holy Lhawang (lha dbang, Lord of the Gods), Grants all the fortunate Kharnyal (mkhar nyal, place name) people The vast and profound path to liberation. Having ascended to the peak of wisdom and compassion, He bestows great bliss and auspiciousness. Today, in the center of our hearts, Is the kindness of this very Siddhi. Venerable scholar, scholar-saint, Accomplished one, your fame is well-established. Protector of the unprotected, refuge of the refuge-less, Supreme remembrance, lama of lamas, supreme lama of remembrance. In this way, through generosity and pleasing speech, etc., ultimately maturing and guiding beings with the profound and vast holy Dharma. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He taught in various ways. As mentioned earlier, the pure lineage holders who came from the seven great complete traditions from India, the nectar-like, immaculate teachings flowing from their mouths, converged into the master's (Tsongkhapa's) heart-lake, from which emerged empowerments, transmissions, instructions, explanations, practical applications, key points, oral instructions, notes, profound essentials, sealed teachings, and so on. Countless deep and vast rivers of Dharma descended effortlessly day after day, thereby guiding each disciple according to their individual capacity, intention, and the order of their latent potential. In these teachings, there was no impurity of vulgar Dharma, far-fetched mixtures, self-creations, and so on. At the appropriate time, he would explain without omission, without remainder, without error, without confusion, and without concealment, all that was proper to explain, both common and special. His explanations were clear and easy to understand, with a balanced rhythm, delivered in a friendly and melodious manner, flowing freely. Even when giving a permission or a small recitation transmission, he would explain: 'This is the text of the root source.' 'Regarding this, there are different explanations in Tibet and India.' 'These are the respective views.' 'Through the practice of the lineage masters, such and such miraculous signs have appeared.' 'Generally speaking, regarding this, there are so many notes.' 'Now, practice and recite through this and this text.' 'This is a special oral instruction that came from the master's mouth.' and so on. He made the intelligent ones feel that everything could be accomplished through these alone, thereby generating unwavering faith in the master, the deity, and the teachings. Similarly, when performing empowerments, it was not merely reciting the ritual and memorizing the text, but introducing in detail all the objects to be purified and the methods of purification, in a way that possessed the three conditions and four purities. In particular, through the blessing of the great wisdom samadhi, the body, speech, and mind would experience changes that could not be suppressed, and the empowerment would be liberated. He would generate a deep conviction in the disciples: 'Now, pure mantra vows have definitely arisen in my continuum.' When giving transmissions and other teachings, merely hearing his voice would naturally dispel coarse, ordinary thoughts. At each stage of the visualization, he would personally demonstrate, including the posture, so that the disciples could practice together. At that time, as it was said... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
