Thinking of the master with one heart and mind, your reputation involuntarily captivates my heart. For a long time, binding oneself with pure vows and precepts, diligently practicing the four sessions of yoga, and freely enjoying the splendor of the profound oral transmission, there are no fewer than hundreds of people who reside in this way, all of whom receive abundant daily offerings that come in abundance. Every month, a fourth-day offering ceremony is held, with very fine tea offerings. During the Great Miracle Festival (Chötrul Düchen), in order to fulfill the intentions of the Great Vajradhara, you, the master, personally preside, and all those present together perform the mandala practice and offering of the Bhagavan Hevajra oral transmission lineage, based on colored powders, for about half a month. The offerings of tea and food are numerous, and the Tsok (assembly) wheel is abundant and rich. In addition, the main practitioners residing there are regularly offered tea and other items as a sign of respect. The secondary practitioners are also regularly provided with leftover tea. For all the monks, tea is also provided in rotation, and occasionally large tea offering ceremonies are held at irregular times, providing cushions and so on. Donations of silk, cloth, etc., are given immediately as they are received. In late summer, the teachers and students go to pleasant places such as meadows, enjoy various delicious foods and drinks, and hold a grand summer feast (Yarthong). In particular, the offerings received from Kham are used for several years to hold large gatherings at Sakya Monastery, with eighteen fine large tea offering ceremonies each year, along with abundant offerings, in order to fulfill the intentions of the successive masters and your root gurus. Thereafter, the fourth-day offering ceremony continued uninterrupted for many years. Even later, any remaining items would be immediately donated to the Sangha, not even keeping a single piece of clothing. Even food that is being eaten is shared with those nearby, rather than being stingy like the mouse-like practitioners of today. This is completely different. Just as the sunlight shines on the slopes of Mount Meru, we monks do not accumulate even the smallest items, and that is the reason. The way of interacting with the world is also completely different from most people today. Towards worldly leaders, officials, etc., who are arrogant because of their lineage, power, and wealth, there is no flattery or conformity, but rather a humble attitude. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He would not be impatient, nor would he speak rashly according to his own thoughts, but would seize upon others' faults and scold them severely. When those who considered themselves great came before him, they would become nervous and ashamed, unable even to answer questions. In general, to those who genuinely sought the Dharma, especially the humble ones, he would act very humbly and wisely. He would inquire in detail about the past and the future, and with great love, he would offer encouragement and guidance, making them understand what should be done and what should not be done. People would be satisfied by his kind face and would not even want to leave his side. In particular, he was especially compassionate towards the poor, the sick, and the helpless. He would call them to his side, or if he could not, he would go to where they were, without regard for hardship. He would look at their faces with his eyes, stroke their heads with his hands, and give blessings, meditation, wind-energy adjustments, exercises, and other appropriate help. He would provide food, clothing, medicine, medical care, and all other necessary assistance, and comfort them with loving words. The waves of accomplishment of the Lord of Hosts (财神) surged upwards as clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings, pleasing the glorious lama and the assembly of Buddhas in the unchanging realm of great bliss. Day and night, he upheld the lineage of accomplishment, passing the three wheels of the great secret and profound teachings, enjoying the glory of all that is desired, and singing songs of realization and vajra. Those helpless ones tormented by the heat of suffering, gazing upon your lotus-like face, obtained solace of mind through hundreds of thousands of riches of their own needs. How wonderful! Ah! In the past, Black Mountain was known as the medicinal land of the crow-headed demon, where you manifested great bodhisattva deeds. This youth named 'Delighting in Giving,' wearing new monastic robes, came to this land of snow, as if opening a hundred gates of generosity once more. The young rays of the sun scatter garlands of red flowers upon the beautiful blue earth, filling this land with delightful lotus pollen and intoxicating honey essence. The towering rain clouds roar in the sky, showering nectar-like rain upon every corner of the earth. I respectfully place your feet upon the heads of the arrogant. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
