He served as an inner minister to Tsawa and King Trisong Detsen and Sadnalegs. In addition, there were many who held the tradition of yoga teachings, such as Lhaje Lodan Senge and Lhaje Dodepa Senge. Lhaje Lotsawa Gawa Pel, Lhaje Lotsawa Lume, and Lhaje Lotsawa Tashi Tsekpa, etc., were all excellent translators who acted as ministers and did many beneficial things, and they came from this family lineage. After Lhaje Jetsun Sherab Jungne built the monastery, Yutok Dra Ser Zang, the son of Jojo Tagi Gyaltsen of Ombuk, the birthplace of Lhaje Jetsun, came to visit Lhaje Jetsun, was ordained as a monk, and entrusted as an attendant. After his younger brother Sherab Yeshe, the seat of Shalu Monastery was also held by Yutok Dra Ser Zang. Yutok Dra Ser Zang's discipline became lax, and he became a ruler. He handed over the seat to Kyungpo Drak Seng. He himself became the ruler and governed Ngari (region). Yutok Dra said to Kyungla: "Build an iron fence around this place," and the other replied, "Okay." "Dig a well inside," and the other replied, "Okay." After these two things were completed, during the time of Yutok Dra Ser Zang, on the right was a jade-colored beach, the land was fertile, the scenery was pleasant, it was the northern protection place where the guide of beings appeared, the south was Zholpa, and in front was Ne'u Sing, where countless flowers grew, various birds made pleasant sounds, and various animals danced with joy, and there, the self-arisen Jowo (Buddha image) was just appearing. A lay devotee named Gewa Dorje Wom went to graze sheep and goats, and there was an emanation of a female goat with a jade dewlap hanging down, which was circling to the right, bathing in milk, and seeing this scene, the lay devotee developed unparalleled faith, and invited it to the riverside on the right, and it came and stayed by the riverside. At that time, the abbot of Shalu Monastery, Tsondru, mediated, and Shalu Monastery gave the extensive, medium, and concise three categories of scriptures to Tsang Drampa. The self-arisen Jowo was invited to reside in Shalu Ripuk, and at that time there were rumors of a flood, so the water-eye people stole the Jowo and left. Jomo Ripukma set up a thief trap, and they could not go anywhere. Thieves

Even when broken by women, it could not be broken. Having been blessed into an indestructible Vajra body, it could not be lifted even when carried, and it could not be broken even when struck. At that time, Indians, Nepalese, and people from Ü-Tsang were happy to become patrons, especially the Nepalese were good patrons. Because the Nepalese needed ornaments and wealth for the "face mountain" (zhālǐ, phonetic transcription), they built a stupa at the foot of the face mountain, which is still known as the Nepalese Stupa today, located in the northwest of Gyangong (རྒྱན་གོང་, phonetic transcription). After that, the Shalu-pa (ཞྭ་ལུ་པ་) and Ripuk-pa (རི་ཕུག་པ་) discussed and thought that Jowo (ཇོ་བོ་) would have greater benefit in Shalu (ཞྭ་ལུ་), so they invited Jowo to Shalu. They also thought of inviting Jowo to reside in the main temple, but Jowo said, "I am like a child in the arms of its mother." This is the Avalokiteśvara Khasarpani (ཁ་སར་པ་ཎི་) statue that was previously invited from India, and now it resides in his arms. Here also resides the Great Compassionate One, the vow object of Smriti (སྨྲྀ་ཏི་). It is located in the main offering place on the south side of the two western halls of the Shalu main temple. After that, the son of Yuthok Zaser Zangpo (གཡུ་ཐོག་སྒྲ་གསེར་བཟང་) was Chebum (ལྕེ་འབུམ།), and Chebum's sons were Chebum Me (ལྕེ་འབུམ་མེ་) and Bumdar (འབུམ་དར་). At that time, there was no name for the Shalu chiliarchy, and Ngari (མངའ་རིས་) was about the size of a chiliarchy. The Shalu-pa's pillars were four, the beams were eight, and there were nine lion-maned ones in the north, known as the seventy ladies. The four pillars were: Gadong Dampa Chökyi pillar (སྒ་གདོང་དམ་པ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཀ་བ།), Kuri Jakyu Khadrak Pungpai pillar (སྐུ་རི་ཇ་སྐྱུས་ཁ་དྲག་དཔུང་པའི་ཀ་བ།), Yushyuma Norgyi pillar (གཡུས་སྒྱུ་མ་ནོར་གྱིས་ཀ་བ།), and Neser Thü'i pillar (ནེ་སེར་ཐུའི་ཀ་བ་), these are the four pillars. The eight beams were: in the east, Kyidru Shabyar Tsal (ཀྱི་གྲུ་ཤ་བྱར་ཚལ།); in the south, Armukpa (འར་མུག་པ།); in Dritsam (འབྲི་མཚམས་) in the west, Dok (ལྡོག); Zakangbo (ཟ་རྐང་སྦོ་) in the north, Nyel Je'wang (མཉལ་རྗེ་འབངས།); and Chokro Panno (ཅོག་རོ་པཎ་ནོ།). The lion-maned one in the north is the valley of Uyuk Gönönchen Ame Bumdar (ཨ་མེས་འབུམ་དར་) had two sons, the brothers Ame Bumten (ཨ་མེས་འབུམ་བསྟན་). Ame Bumten's wife was Nyelma Drelchung (མཉལ་མ་བྲེལ་ཆུང་), who gave birth to the sons Ame Chenpo Sangye Yeshe (ཨ་མེས་ཆེན་པོ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡེ་ཤེས་) and Shakya Lodrö (ཤཱཀྱ་བློ་གྲོས་). Che Ame Bumme (ལྕེ་ཨ་མེས་འབུམ་མེས་) gave birth to the son Ame Gedun Zangpo (ཨ་མེས་དགེ་འདུན་བཟང་པོ་). During the time of Ame Chenpo Sangye Yeshe, when the water source was disrupted, the Hayagriva statue in the main temple drew the water out three times, causing the spring to dry up. Ame Chenpo Sangye Yeshe's wife was Tsatsa Tsünne (ཚ་ཚ་བཙུན་ནེ་), who gave birth to the sons Kushang Ngadra (སྐུ་ཞང་རྔ་སྒྲ།), Kushang Gönpo Pel (སྐུ་ཞང་མགོན་པོ་ དཔལ།), Kushang
