On the lintel of the door, in Sanskrit: The one who holds the rabbit, adorned with a string of stars, abandoning wandering in the night sky, like the moon in clear water, a child's mind grasps the form as a measure. The translator saw it and, finding the script very neat, recognized the letters. Thinking it was स्मृ ति (smṛti, remembrance), he waited at the crossroads where livestock passed and met him. Having previously been a Khenpo, the translator wept and asked, "How could you do such a thing?" He said, "I did it for my mother's sake. Where is your mother now?" Then the translator lured him with his own wealth. Again, for his mother's sake, while working as a shepherd of black horses, he built a monastery. The big drum at the foot of the mountain, etc., in the area of Shang Phu Lhabu, in Shang Kyormolung, his mother was born as a female dog. That female dog was very harsh and irritable, with a bad heart, and ugly, so because the mother had great affection for the female dog, she was born as a dog. To bring her out, he also worked as a yak herder. Day and night, he maintained his vows, and the imprint of his body from the waist down remained clearly on the rock in the meditation cave. स्मृ ति's (smṛti) shoes and bearskin robe are in Shang Kyormo Dzong. Later, after the mother passed away from the female dog, in a place called Thobgyal Madar, at the hearth, she was born inside the mother's stove. To bring her out, he worked as a shepherd. Near the Lohita River, from a sand dune with a turquoise tip, the three Jowo brothers and the Mani stone appeared naturally, and because the emanation sheep offered milk, they found those things, but a monkey was hit by a slingshot. Then, when Smriti was invited, one Jowo went to Tushita, one Jowo initially resided temporarily in the sandy temple on the banks of the Tsangpo River, and then went to Shalu Monastery. One Jowo and the Mani stone remain in Thobgyal. (The reason why the monkey appeared naturally is that the body support is Avalokiteśvara, the speech support is the Mani stone, and the mind support is the monkey, that is, the essence of the non-conceptual wisdom of the mind of the noble Avalokiteśvara manifested as a monkey Bodhisattva, residing in the caves of Zo and Gongpori, hence the name Monkey Cave. In Tibet, it propagated the beings of the mother, laid the foundation for the flourishing of the excellent Dharma, and again transformed into the essence of the non-conceptual wisdom of the mind of the noble one.
