They washed away and purified all defilements and obscurations. It became like pure crystal, the nature of clear light. The nectars gradually gathered. They gathered from the pores of Manjushri. They dissolved into the Dhi (藏文：དྷིཿ，梵文天城体：धीः，梵文罗马拟音：dhīḥ，汉语字面意思： धीः) in the heart. Focus your mind on such a visualization and recite the mantra. When performing the combined practice of peaceful and wrathful deities, focus on this visualization. Meditate on the ornaments and consort as before. At the tip of the ray, with the demeanor of a messenger, fierce, brave, and resolute. Emanate countless figures holding iron hooks and lassos. All objects to be subdued, whether male or female, are bound with lassos. Pierce the hearts of men and the secret places of women with iron hooks, and instantly draw them forth. Cause them to lie supine, faint, and intoxicated, manifesting this state. Emit red rays of light from your heart. As the light strikes them, their entire bodies are filled with red light, causing them to sit with palms joined in a state of great joy, reverence, and devotion. When reciting the mantra and concluding the session, contemplate them dissolving into that state, and there is no need for further generation stage practices. Furthermore, visualize the bodhicitta of Manjushri in union with his consort descending from the point of union, passing sequentially through the four channels of the heart, filling the entire body with tingling sensations, and then recite the above mantra. These are the instructions for combining peaceful and wrathful practices, the twenty-second oral instruction. The twenty-third is the life-force practice. That is, visualize in your heart the goddess Saraswati, with a red-colored body, three faces (red, black, and white), and six arms. The first two hands hold a curved knife and a skull cup filled with blood, or a severed head. The two right hands hold a lotus marked with a scripture and a wheel. The two left hands hold a lute marked with a mountain and a sword. She sits with her right leg bent and her left leg extended, wearing a tiger skin as a lower garment, manifesting a form that combines peacefulness and wrathfulness.
