In practicing meditation, one generates the support as the palace and the supported as the deity. Firstly, from emptiness, the origin of Dharma, a triangle with one corner pointing downwards. Although it becomes four-cornered, it is still triangular from any direction. Its outer part is white like a stove, and the inner part is red, representing wisdom. The tip pointing upwards indicates the increase of qualities. The three corners above represent emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. The one corner below is not aggregated, embodying the four characteristics of liberation, being extremely vast. Its shape resembles a three-cornered hollow torma with its tip stuck into the ground. Although the practice of the protection wheel within it is mentioned here, there is no contradiction in practicing it either inside or outside the origin of Dharma. Then, from the very center of that origin of Dharma, the dark blue Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) completely transforms into a multi-colored vajra with twenty points. Although one meditates on twelve points, here twenty points are shown, resembling the shape of a spearhead. The two points on the left and right of the central point should be meditated on as two side-by-side, one above the other. The method of meditating on purity is that the eastern point, like a mirror, is not contradictory to combining the purity of the five wisdoms. However, these twenty points are to destroy the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the perishable collection. Above such a dark blue center, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) emanates immeasurable light, and above the center of the multi-colored vajra is the vajra ground, filled with vajras without gaps, vast and round in shape. The vajra ground does not show the appearance of dust accumulating on the ground. Slightly inward from its upper edge is the round vajra fence, thick and substantial. Above it arises the vajra tent. Although there is a practice of pressing one mouth onto the fence and meditating on it as overlapping, the fence practice is to have the fence and tent facing each other. In all the closed gaps, one should meditate on having a square vajra awning. Outside, from above the vajra fence and tent, the fire of wisdom blazes upwards, and in all directions and corners, from the vajra fence and the vajra ground below, flames blaze intensely, filling all ten directions with the fire of wisdom. It is called Vajra Raksha.

Say "Sa Lan" three times or once, which means Vajra protection, that is, to stabilize. From the inner side of the Vajra fence to the blood sea, the eight great charnel grounds as described are extremely vast. The blood of various corpses gathers in the center, forming a sea of blood with turbulent waves. In the center of that is a skull seat, a round precious stone wall, slightly protruding from the center of the blood sea. For example, in the center of a katola, a mandala is placed, and the space between the mountain of the katola and the mandala is filled with water. Above that precious mountain, there is a round wall of dry skulls, wide with only one gate, with bone pillars and a roof, hanging with four-pronged banners, with wet intestine decorations, the center of the platform bulging, the top decorated with a vajra jewel finial. It is said, regarding this, one can meditate only on the shape of the jewel, or on the two forms of the vajra above the jewel; whichever one meditates on is fine. Here, some say that the blood sea and the skull wall are unreasonable, but the blood sea arises from the blood of various corpses gathering in the center, and it is also mentioned in the tantras. As it says in the Seven Sections Tantra: "Place fragments of blood in the four corners of the mandala." This is the meaning here. In general, the blood sea and the skull wall belong to the category of charnel grounds, and they arise from the gathering of various corpses, which is naturally formed. There have also been investigations into whether father tantras and mother tantras have charnel grounds, but that is also unreasonable. Vajrabhairava is a father tantra, which everyone knows, and the writing of charnel grounds is mentioned in the section on writing body images in the Seven Sections Tantra. In any case, from the inner side of the Vajra fence to the blood sea, in the four directions and four corners, seeing the eight great charnel grounds, merely hearing talk of them is hair-raising, and even frightening things are made to be frightening. Their respective names will be narrated according to the Thirteen Deity system. In those places, there are eight lush trees with abundant flowers and fruits, their respective names being transmitted from the Red Executioner. The eight guardians of the directions, such as Indra, are consistent with the general tradition. The eight field protectors are: the white sangha of the gods.
