If it is said that the nature of Īśvara and desire are not different, but are one. Then, it should be asked, what is the way of this oneness? Is Īśvara and desire one in terms of object? Or is desire one with the object Īśvara? According to the first statement, the creator Īśvara will become multiple, because it is one with multiple desires. According to the second statement, desire will also become permanent, because it is one with the permanent creator. If this is also admitted, then since you admit that various things arise in sequence, and say that they arise depending on the sequence, then the saying that they arise dependently will collapse, because if desire is permanent, then it has no sequence, and the things it produces also contradict arising in sequence. Also, if Īśvara and desire are different, but, since Īśvara as the cause produces desire as the effect, and it produces these various worlds, then, if it is thought that the above-mentioned fault will not occur, then Īśvara will become impermanent, because it has the nature of cause and effect. Furthermore, if there are many other factors such as the cause Īśvara and its desire to produce these various things, then it is the same as dependent origination. Therefore, the statement that the permanent creator alone produces all the worlds completely collapses. Also, if it is said that Īśvara is not impermanent, but being a cause and effect is not contradictory, because it is the cause and effect of permanence, if you say so, then, the reason is that the permanent creator produces the effect desire. Desire contradicts sequential arising, and since it contradicts, the internal and external things also contradict sequential arising. There is no fault in this, if it is thought that even if the creator is permanent, it and desire have no connection, and desire and these various things also have no connection, then, if it is separated from the two connections, then Īśvara will not become the creator, because it has no connection with those things. Therefore, the subject of the creator completely abandons the work of creating these various worlds. Therefore, the non-Buddhists think that the person of the creator, the permanent, single, independent one, is the supreme lord, and he
