Therefore, by relying on this supreme Middle Way Dharma, one will obtain inexhaustible and extremely vast, unsurpassed, and excellent merit. These four will experience the result in this very life, and the ultimate result is that even the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment will be obtained from this pure Middle Way view. Thus, the four temporary benefits and the one ultimate benefit, these five are the benefits of entering the Great Other-Emptiness Middle Way. Even practicing the sacred Dharma associated with the views of the Hearers who are separated from this supreme Middle Way, the Great Vehicle Mind-Only school, and the Self-Emptiness school, etc., for many eons, is not as good as practicing the Great Other-Emptiness Middle Way for a moment, because it can perfect the accumulation of merit and wisdom, is extremely excellent, and is close to becoming a Buddha. Fifth, how to enter? Enter by relying on scripture and reasoning. Among them, the words of a valid person do not contradict what is manifest and directly perceived, do not contradict what is hidden and inferred, and do not contradict what is extremely hidden and believed through inference, possessing three kinds of examination. On top of this, one should follow the scriptures spoken by the Buddha, such as the sutras that show the path of liberation, and the treatises composed by the bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis, such as the Heart Sutra, and the treatises composed by the great chariot masters, such as Asanga, etc., following the valid scriptures, and enter through the complete branches of reasoning such as direct perception and inference. If one thinks that what is established by scripture does not need to be established by reasoning, and what is established by reasoning does not need to be established by scripture, it is not so. First, it is not certain; in general, what is already established by scripture does not need to be established again by reasoning, but if what is already established by scripture is in accordance with the path of reasoning, then it is necessary to generate even stronger certainty. Second, it is also not certain; even if the reasoning of direct perception and inference is established, it does not contradict the establishment of scripture. For example, conditioned phenomena are impermanent, although reasoning has already established this, but again, through the scriptural words of the sutras, etc., the teaching that conditioned phenomena are impermanent can also generate even stronger certainty, and conditioned phenomena also have the source of impermanence in reasoning. Therefore, one should follow the valid scriptures.

Following and possessing the complete logical variations is the union of two truths in Madhyamaka. Like the Prasangikas, it is a refutation that states contradictions. A balanced refutation with the same reason. An unestablished refutation where the thesis and the reason are the same, etc. Using some seemingly valid reasons, one refutes the tenets of others, and since one has no own tenet, one does not accept anything. This is deceitful and should be rejected, i.e., abandoned. This also contradicts one's own previous and subsequent statements, because "I do not accept anything" is itself a vow not to accept. Therefore, "no tenet" and "not accepting anything" are two statements that contradict each other. The five ways of entering the scriptures mentioned above are now summarized in one verse, "Entering what," etc., which should be understood implicitly. Second, regarding the main text, it is divided into sutra and commentary. The first part is: The realm of ultimate truth, the nature of reality, is expressed through different names, such as Tathagatagarbha, Self, and Pure Self, and its meaning abides as the nature of reality, and is not other than that, so it is Tathagatagarbha. The Dharmadhatu itself is established in the reality of things and is knowable by each of the noble ones, so it is Self. The Dharmadhatu itself is not the self of a person or the self of phenomena, so it is pure, i.e., a superior or excellent self. The realm of ultimate truth is indivisible, all-pervasive, and all-encompassing. Its meaning is that constant all things is the nature of Dharmadhatu. And the Dharmadhatu is considered constant, but only as a constant that is always there. If it is said to be so, then it is not, because the constant is momentary arising and ceasing, while the Dharmadhatu is free from arising and ceasing, so it is only the constant of its own nature. It appears as all knowable things, appearing as the form of its own nature, and also appearing as sounds, etc. Having thus determined the nature of the Dharmadhatu, it also becomes indivisible, all-pervasive, and all-encompassing, because it is constant, transcends time and space, and has no separate parts, so it becomes indivisible. Whatever is impermanent cannot be indivisible, because it has parts of time and space.
