If not me, then Suchness is inexpressible in any other way. Suchness and the four dharmas are also the same, and cannot be expressed in any way other than Suchness. These reasons will be explained when discussing the two truths. The characteristic of the object of conceptualization is the cause, because the cause is the object of conceptualization, and conceptualization is the agent that acts on that object. Name is the characteristic of the basis or place where verbal expression arises. The characteristic of taking the cause as an object is conceptualization. The latter, Suchness, is the characteristic of the object and subject of two correct knowledges, because the object of correct knowledge is Suchness, and the subject that takes Suchness as its object is the characteristic of correct knowledge. The "characteristic" mentioned here does not refer to the characteristic of judging the essence of things, which is now commonly known as being separated from the three faults of non-pervasiveness, over-pervasiveness, and impossibility, but rather refers to the fact that a certain characteristic is possessed on a certain specific thing, and that is all, it is called a characteristic. How are these five dharmas summarized by the three characteristics? Most of the causes that do not include the grasping part, and name, are completely imputed. Conceptualization and correct knowledge both have the characteristic of other-dependence. Suchness is the unchanging perfect reality. Analysis of the four noble truths: In general, the four noble truths are divided into the four noble truths that are established and the four noble truths that are not established. The first is well known to all vehicles, because it can be established through language and concepts, so it is called that. The second is the appearance of the four noble truths of ultimate reality, which cannot be established through language and concepts. Therefore, the cause has all parts of the four noble truths that are established. Name is included in the truth of suffering, so if it is a name, it must be the truth of suffering, which is pervasive. But if it is the truth of suffering, it is not necessarily a name, because it is not pervasive. Except for the truth of cessation, all the grasping parts of the other three truths exist in conceptualization, therefore, conceptualization pervades the essence of the other three truths, but in general, conceptualization does not pervade these three truths, because the apprehended parts of these three are not conceptualization. The four noble truths that are not established are the truth of dharma.

The cessation truth, which appears in four aspects, is encompassed by Suchness. All four truths, whether established or not, are objects of correct wisdom. Therefore, it takes the form of the truth of Dharma-nature as an object to be contemplated and attained. Among the four established truths, impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness are the four aspects of the truth of suffering. Cause, origin, condition, and arising are the aspects of the truth of origin. Cessation, peace, excellence, and definite emergence are the four aspects of the truth of cessation. Path, practice, reason, and deliverance are the four aspects of the truth of the path. All sixteen of these are objects of cognition. Fifth, examining the two truths: From the five dharmas, taking the two of name and meaning, and the two of conceptualization and correct wisdom, Suchness is the ultimate truth. The first two exist only as conventional truths, the third, conceptualization, exists as a conventional truth, and the latter two, Suchness and correct wisdom, are considered to be the actual ultimate truth and the nominal ultimate truth, respectively. Sixth, explaining the term dharma in the present context: The "dharma" mentioned here refers to the basis for understanding the meaning of dharma. Similarly, it can also be called the five things, which simply means the existence of things. Between the characteristic and the basis, and between the dharma of the basis and the dependent and the dependence, all knowable objects of dependence are included in these five. Therefore, the name "five dharmas" was given by the Victorious One (Buddha). Second, explaining the three natures, in three parts: summary, detailed explanation, and concluding summary. First is the summary: In general, for any basis of dharma, such as a pot, the three natures can be applied: the pot of complete imputation, the pot of other-dependence, and the pot of perfect consummation. Even on the completely imputed pot that excludes the inner, there may be three natures, but such endless establishment should not be done. As in the "Hundred Verses for Noble Ones" and others, there are statements such as "form of complete imputation, form of conceptualization, and form of Dharma-nature" as classifications of form, but it is not so; it merely means that the three natures exist on form. Among them, the nature of complete imputation is the expression of mind, established by the wisdom of conceptualization.
