Therefore, its meaning is that the Sanskrit word for lineage is "gotra." Lineage means very similar, that is, the suchness of sentient beings and the suchness of the Buddha are very similar. Therefore, the essence is also the same, because "the Buddha lineage is for the enjoyment of the fruit." "Dhatu" does not refer to the cause, but to the state of being in an unclear manner, which is the dhatu. For example, the Buddha's body exists in the bad lotus, honey exists in the middle of the bee, essence exists in the husk, gold exists in the unclean thing, treasure exists underground, the ability of fruit exists in the sprout, a golden statue like a king exists in the tattered clothes, a human lord Chakravartin exists in the belly of a bad woman, and the image of a jewel exists on the ground. These nine examples and nine meanings, the essence truly exists, but it is obscured by other things from the outside, and it exists in an unclear state. Similarly, for sentient beings, the Dharmakaya suchness is also obscured by temporary defilements such as afflictions, and it exists in an unclear state, which is the meaning of "dhatu." The lineage and dhatu of these Dharmadhatu have also been explained. Therefore, studying these, it is explained that there is no contradiction with Nagarjuna's view. The Tathagatagarbha nature of the holy Nagarjuna, its dharmata is merely free from elaboration; the nature of sentient beings, its dharmata is also a characteristic of negation, merely free from elaboration. Therefore, the dharmata of the Tathagata and the dharmata of sentient beings are the same only in that they are not established by nature. What is the dharmata of the Tathagata is the dharmata of sentient beings. If it is said like this, then the view of that treatise is not like this. If it is like this, then the dharmata of the Tathagata is also empty of nature, and the dharmata of sentient beings is also empty of nature, because the dharmata of the Tathagata does not exist, so the dharmata of sentient beings also does not exist. Therefore, the view of that treatise is that what is the nature or dharmata of the Tathagata is the dharmata of sentient beings. However, there is no nature of the Tathagata, this traveler is without nature.

The non-existence is: the understanding of the cessation of elaborations such as birth and death, permanence and annihilation, coming and going, edge and center, etc. If, apart from this, it is thought that self-nature is not established and does not exist at all, then the special feature is the self-nature of the Tathagatagarbha. The teaching of the Dharmadhatu Tathagatagarbha essence, which possesses nine characteristics, is: four all-pervasive characteristics and two discriminating characteristics, and three common characteristics, for a total of nine characteristics. Among them, the Dharmadhatu is the unchanging permanence, and because it is the lifeblood of all samsara and nirvana, it is all-pervasive, and it is what the noble ones can individually realize with their own wisdom, and because it manifests all the images of samsara and nirvana, it is all-formed. These four are the characteristics established from the perspective of all-pervasive establishment. The nature of Dharmata itself is free from the characteristics of elaboration, and the characteristics of elaboration do not contaminate it. These two are the meaning of discrimination, which is its characteristic. So, what is the difference between being free from elaboration and being uncontaminated? These two are the same in essence, but in order to explain their difference, it is to eliminate the doubt that although it is free from the elaboration of self-nature, it may be contaminated by sudden elaborative characteristics, so it is explained that the Dharmadhatu itself will not be contaminated even by sudden elaborative characteristics. The three characteristics explained from the perspective of both are union, self-luminous wisdom, and the realm of ultimate truth. Thus, these nine are the characteristics of the Dharmadhatu. In general, these contents need to be understood in two ways: the actual situation of the ultimate truth realm and how it appears in the mind of the yogi. In the teachings of the Buddhas and the treatises that explain them, sometimes they are spoken according to the actual situation of the ultimate truth object, and sometimes when refuting the two truths and the two no-selves, it will be explained in detail, so it will not be explained here, and doubts will be cut off for the remaining seven. First, what is the key to establishing the ultimate truth realm as permanent? If the ultimate truth realm is not permanent, then it will become impermanent, and thus it will become real. Because it has its own essence, it is permanent. The meaning of all-pervasive is: whatever thing
