From the branch of the place of non-affliction that does not transform into affliction, and since concentration is the attainment of the transformed place, the branch of the place of non-affliction that will not completely transform into affliction anywhere, and equanimity is the branch of non-affliction that is completely free from desire and hatred, etc., its own nature is completely non-afflictive, there are seven in total. Just as one cultivates by not forgetting the objects with mindfulness, similarly, by the method of discriminating with wisdom, by the method of joy with diligence, by the method of satisfaction with joy, by the method of fitness with extreme pliancy, by the method of one-pointedness with concentration, and by the method of truly abiding with equanimity. The fourth is qualities, the distinction of attaining equality is that in that ground, all phenomena are realized to be without self, therefore the realm of phenomena is equality, when thoroughly realized, one constantly attains the mind of five equalities that are the same as oneself towards sentient beings. What are the five? There is no difference between the self and the continuums of other sentient beings, they are the same in being without self; self and others are equally the same, therefore the suffering of self and others, one should abandon the same; therefore, the matter of abandoning the suffering of self and others, one must regard it as one's own responsibility the same; therefore, just as one does not expect a return for oneself, doing things for others also does not expect a return the same, therefore these four, the Bodhi sattva is of equal mind, and is the prince of manifest realization of suchness, the path of seeing, the same as others and oneself realizing suchness. Thus, they are the same with five samenesses. The distinction of abandoning others is that the Bodhisattva of the path of seeing abandons the afflictions that do not pacify the mind stream, especially the afflictions arising from hatred, by deliberately striving with the uninterrupted path of the Bodhisattva of the path of seeing. In general, the afflictions that are the cause of taking rebirth, and in particular, the afflictions arising from desire that become the cause of accomplishing the benefit of others, are not deliberately abandoned, because for the sake of others, it is definitely necessary to be the cause of taking rebirth in samsara. So how does he act as the cause of taking rebirth in samsara? Because the motivation is compassion, and the aspiration aroused by it is what propels the next life.

It is similar to the previous karma, and the intention of time is also the karma arising from the attachment to the aggregates of future lives, which is similar to the karma of accomplishment. However, the karma that binds to samsara does not change, because seeing the truth will not lead to rebirth, and cutting off desire will not lead to future lives. As stated in the Commentary on the Dependent Arising Sutra. Therefore, Bodhisattvas do not intentionally abandon, but transform the cause of taking birth for the benefit of others into the path to achieve enlightenment. Apart from these afflictions, all afflictions realized in the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, i.e., the three realms, must be abandoned. In particular, the conceptual obscurations of knowledge that are to be abandoned on the path of seeing, as well as the obstacles to absorption in meditation and the reality of the formless realms, such as sinking and agitation, and the seeds and manifestations of many obstacles such as karmic obscurations, must be eliminated during the path of seeing. Furthermore, once the first ground is attained, one is freed from the five fears. The five fears are: the fear of lack of livelihood, the fear of lack of eloquence, the fear of death, the fear of evil destinies, and the fear of shyness in the assembly, all of which he does not have. On this ground, the impure body, speech, and mind of samsara are abandoned, and the five senses such as the eyes are transformed, so the first mind-made body that conforms to the signs and marks is obtained. On the path of seeing, one sees the nature of reality and clearly understands all the characteristics of the aspect of separation from elaboration, while for the aspect of complete cutting off, one does not fully realize all aspects by one's own power, but can realize it by relying on the scriptures. Although the nature of such a path of seeing is essentially meditative wisdom, it can be established as sixteen different moments when distinguished from the perspective of the counter-aspect. A moment refers to the moment of complete action, that is, the complete certainty of "suffering should be known." The path of cultivation is the continuation of the path of seeing, that is, it is the path of seeing until the afflictions to be abandoned on the path of cultivation have not been abandoned, and from the time when the abandonment of the afflictions to be abandoned on the path of cultivation begins, it is the path of cultivation. The noble Bodhisattva is skilled in means and miraculous powers.
