Whatever arises, if, at the very moment of arising, one looks at the nature of that instant and abides in the mere clarity and awareness of mind, then this becomes wisdom. What difference does it make whether there is continuity or whether there are discriminations or not? Because abiding in the mere clarity and awareness of mind is непрерывной at all times, whether there are gross discriminations or not. Therefore, there is this conclusion. Once it is established in the mind, its own nature is merely clarity and awareness, because clarity and awareness are the characteristics of mind. Furthermore, the second instant of discrimination should also be wisdom. Because it is discrimination, and because the nature of discrimination is wisdom, which is the essence of your view. When one looks at its nature, the arising of discrimination ceases, and there is no continuity, is this also the case? How is the first instant of discrimination not the same as wisdom? Because they are the same. You are speaking without distinguishing between discrimination and the nature of discrimination. The nature of discrimination is emptiness, it is non-discrimination, so it is not discrimination. The very door of appearance of discrimination is an illusion of appearing when it does not exist. Therefore, it is not the nature of discrimination itself. Nor is it the nature of anyone else. If it is merely appearance, and there is no inherent existence from the beginning, then how could the nature of its first instant be wisdom? It is impossible. For example, if a barren woman's son does not exist from the beginning, then his characteristics of being beautiful or not are also impossible. You say that the instant of discrimination is wisdom, so does this instant refer to the final instant? Or does it refer to the instant of the completion of action? If it is the first, it is unreasonable, because the final instant is hidden and invisible to ordinary people. If it refers to the instant of the completion of action, then it is obvious that during the instant of the completion of action, discriminations such as desire accumulate various actions. For example, like the interdependent origination of instants. Therefore, if the first instant of discrimination is actual wisdom, then the actions accumulated by it, which are defiled dharmas, should be undefiled actions. If it is said that because the discrimination of the one who accumulates it is the essence of undefiled wisdom, then these three spheres
