Because it relies on being extremely powerful. As it is said, in the Madhyamakāvatāra: If the world does not harm you, then please rely on the world to refute this place. You and the world argue here, and afterwards, I, who am powerful, will rely on it. Etc., mistaking the sutra verses quoted above, in order to establish external objects, etc., it is said that the reasoning of the world is very powerful. Refuting it: Then, for you, the body of a woman, the dharma, is pure, it follows. Because whatever is known as pure in the world, its reasoning is powerful, so the sign is established, and the pervasion has already been implicitly admitted. It cannot be admitted fundamentally, because the sutra says that the body is the nature of the thirty-six impure substances, which is contradictory. Furthermore, the self (Pudgala) is a permanent, eternal phenomenon, it follows. Because in the eyes of worldly people who believe that the self (Pudgala) is eternal, it is established by reason. Because the reasoning of worldly people is powerful. Furthermore, as it is said that all movement is created by the creator, Ishvara, etc., you should also admit that all the world is created by the creator. Why? Because you believe that for external objects, etc., the reasoning of the world is powerful. Furthermore, the wisdom of the Buddha should manifest forms, etc., external phenomena, it follows. Because worldly people believe that external objects appear. Because whatever you admit in the world, the Buddha also admits. If you admit, the wisdom of the Buddha, the dharma, forms, etc., conventional phenomena, should appear as they appear to sentient beings, it follows. Because in order to establish external objects, the reasoning of worldly people is powerful. Because in that reasoning, external phenomena are thoroughly established. Pervasion: If it is a thoroughly established phenomenon, then the wisdom of the Buddha must manifest it. If you also admit that, just like water, the same object appears as nectar to gods, pus to pretas, and cool, clear water to humans, etc., due to the different ways of accumulating karma. Then, in the wisdom of the Buddha, which of those does it appear in accordance with? It appears in accordance with any of those, and not in accordance with others.

The reason for appearance is not correct, and it is difficult to establish a universal appearance. If the wisdom of the Buddha appears universally, then the same object would become the common basis of water, pus, and nectar. In this way, the valid cognition that does not mistake contradictions would be established, and the same object being nectar would also be established by valid cognition, and not being nectar would also be established by valid cognition. Therefore, the distinction between being established by valid cognition and not being established would be indistinguishable, and such a fault would occur. Fifth, refuting the view that afflictions are wisdom: The Mahamudra practitioners consider afflictions and conceptual thoughts to be wisdom, and this is analyzed. That is, stating their view and refuting it. First: Conceptual thought cannot be transformed into a good Dharmakaya, nor is another Dharmakaya pervading conceptual thought. Observing the nature of the arising of conceptual thought, without accepting, rejecting, negating, or affirming it, its nature is clear and empty, naked, and inseparable from the nature of innate co-emergent wisdom, which is called Dharmakaya. Recognizing this is called recognizing one's own nature. That is, the nature or essence of self-grasping and other conceptual thoughts is not separate from wisdom. Whatever thought of self-grasping ignorance, attachment, or aversion arises, the nature of that moment, from the beginning, transcends the mind, is self-illuminating in the nature of no object, and abides in the essence of wisdom. Apart from that, the direct experience or extreme views, wrong paths, etc., are considered as thoughts to be abandoned and negated, and their nature is the unborn Dharmakaya, the uninterrupted manifestation of the energy of luminosity is the Nirmanakaya, the clear manifestation of inseparable clarity and emptiness is the Sambhogakaya, and the nature that transcends the mind is the Svabhavikakaya. Therefore, whatever appears and whatever manifests, the sign of its recognition, from the beginning, abides in the operation of the three bodies, and everything that manifests is innate, transcending the mind, and manifests without any admixture of anything else, this is what they believe. Second, refuting it: If the nature of all phenomena, such as stability and movement, is wisdom, then what is the point of analyzing afflictions and conceptual thoughts? Because there is no need. If you say: There is a need, because the nature of conceptual thought is wisdom. Then, the respective antidotes to conceptual thoughts such as desire
