It is similar to causing harm. Just as a small spark, if not guarded against, can gradually burn everything. The pleasure of desire is also like that, recognize that attachment to desire is the nature of fault, and thus generate aversion. Speaking of the faults of desire: Desires are the source of suffering. The Victorious One (Buddha) said it is like the Kimpa fruit. Desires are the basis of many sufferings, therefore, the Victorious Buddha said it is like the fruit of the Kimpa tree, although beautiful in shape and color, it has the power of poison, although it seems pleasant for the moment, it is full of faults and is not a place of attachment. Explaining the reason why one should not be attached to desires: They should be abandoned, because they are the iron chains of bondage, which will lead beings to the ultimate. From the bright heavens, one falls into the dark lower realms by engaging in non-virtue, this is a person who goes from light to the ultimate of darkness. Accumulating virtuous deeds in the dark lower realms, and ascending to the bright heavens due to past virtues, this is a person who goes from darkness to the ultimate of light. Among these four situations, one should also belong to the first, going from light to the ultimate of light, from a human body to again experience the happiness of gods and humans in the heavens, engage in vast virtuous deeds. Also, lead oneself, close ones, and those whom one can persuade to engage in such virtuous deeds. Mainly observing the actions of others, and thus advising to be cautious: People are like unripe mangoes. Like ripe but unripe, unripe appearing unripe, ripe appearing ripe, understand it to be like that. Understand these people to be like mangoes. How so? Just as on a mango tree, there are fruits that are unripe inside but appear ripe outside, fruits that are ripe inside but appear unripe outside, fruits that are unripe inside and also appear unripe outside, and fruits that are ripe inside and also appear ripe outside. Similarly, some people have evil minds inside, but their outward behavior is skillful and their speech is sweet, seeming to bring benefit, this is like being unripe inside but appearing ripe outside. Some people have good minds inside, but their bodily actions are unskillful and their speech is harsh, this is like being ripe inside but unripe outside.

Those who are equally bad inside and out are like those who are immature in both aspects. Those who are equally good inside and out are like those who are mature in both aspects. Those who are equally bad inside and out should be abandoned far away. Those who are equally good inside and out, whose thoughts and actions are perfect, and who have the character of benefiting others, should be constantly approached, relied upon, and respected, which is very important. For the two types of people who are inconsistent inside and out, observe carefully. If the heart is good, even if the behavior is not skillful, respect and approach them as much as possible. This is acceptable. If the heart is dark and evil, even if the actions of body and speech appear to benefit others, one must always be vigilant and stay away. If one does not observe carefully and becomes indulgent, it will lead to the decline of Dharma and political affairs, so it must be abandoned far away. Admonishing people to abandon the distraction of desires and be cautious. First, prohibit the practice of sexual misconduct with desire: Even if you see someone else's wife, if she is of similar age, you should generate the thought of a mother, daughter, or sister. If you develop attachment, you should seriously contemplate its impurity. Others are bound in this prison of samsara. One should abandon attachment to desires. These sentient beings of the world, who are tightly bound by the iron chains of desire, cannot escape from the prison of suffering in samsara. Therefore, one should abandon the iron chains of attachment to desires and thus be liberated from the prison of samsara. Showing that abandoning attachment to desires is the best warrior: Those who can constantly and unstably shake the six senses in the six realms, those who defeat the enemy in battle, the wise consider the former to be the greatest warrior. Those practitioners who constantly and unstably shake the consciousness of the six senses in the six realms can destroy them with the power of cautious remedies. In reality, the six senses are material and do not shake in the six realms; the accompanying consciousness is also non-discriminating and does not shake in the six realms. However, the discriminating thoughts that follow the consciousness of the six senses will shake in the six realms, thereby generating all kinds of afflictions such as attachment and aversion.

From the subsequent of the eye consciousness, together with conceptualization, moving on the object of form, to the six consciousnesses between the subsequent of the mind consciousness, together with conceptualization, moving on the object of the realm of phenomena, together with the subsequent conceptualization, moving unstably on their respective objects, being destroyed and conquered by the enemy forces of afflictions with antidotes, this is a hero. Abandoning the battlefield, the enemy's army is destroyed by one person, and victory is gained from the enemy, which is also a hero. Among these two, the wise ones consider conquering the conceptualization that moves on the object, and destroying the enemy forces with the inner mind, to be courageous, supreme, and the most excellent, and respect it as such. Abandoning attachment to the object of women is: The body of a young woman, from another perspective, is full of foul odors and the desire of the nine orifices, like a container of impure things that is difficult to fill, although covered with skin and decorated, it should still be viewed from another perspective. If one thinks that the body of a young woman is pleasing and worthy of attachment, that is not the case. If it is separated one by one from another perspective and analyzed, it will be found that the inside of the body is filled with foul-smelling impure things, the nine orifices constantly discharge filth, and various impure things such as blood, pus, internal organs, etc., are like containers. Moreover, it is not as easy to feed as livestock, but must be nourished with food and precious wealth, so it is difficult to fill. Therefore, although it is covered with skin from the outside, so that it is not seen, and beautified with decorations, if one observes carefully with wisdom from another perspective, one will find that it is of an unpleasant nature, so one should not be attached to it. Because desires are insatiable, craving must be abandoned. The advice in this regard is: Just as a leper is afflicted by worms, and relies entirely on fire for the sake of pleasure, although he feels temporary pleasure, the disease will not be pacified, but the heat will increase due to pus, and the pain will intensify. Similarly, know that attachment to desires, although temporarily satisfied, craving will grow again and never end.
