Please listen, all you Yoginis. I, named so-and-so, from this time until I attain enlightenment, just as the Buddhas of the three times have generated the supreme Bodhicitta, I will generate it likewise, and I will uphold the three vows of abstaining from evil deeds, accumulating virtuous dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings. Regarding the vows of the Vairocana family, I take refuge in the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. In the Vajra family, there are four: bell, mudra, and teacher. Among these, the conventional truth is the symbolic Vajra bell, painted images, etc.; the ultimate truth is the great bliss Vajra; emptiness endowed with all perfections is the bell; meditating on the body as the deity's form is the mudra. In the Ratna family, one practices the four kinds of giving, which are giving material possessions, fearlessness, Dharma, and loving-kindness, six times during the day and night. In the Padma family, one upholds the outer, inner, and secret teachings, and one upholds the teachings of the three vehicles. One upholds all the vows and precepts of accomplishing the meaning, and one performs the act of offering. The common precepts of the five families are: Bodhicitta is the unsurpassed and supreme, etc., promising to uphold these precepts for the benefit of sentient beings, and promising to liberate those who have not been liberated, etc. Second, accumulating merit in an inferior realm means cultivating the four immeasurables. Among these, the first three are common to the Mahayana, and the fourth is the immeasurable equanimity, thinking, "May all sentient beings abide in this." The root tantra says: First cultivate loving-kindness, then cultivate compassion, then cultivate joy, and finally cultivate equanimity. Thus, accumulating merit in the realm of samsara is like accumulating the karma that propels one into future lives, and if combined with the fruit of practice, it is like accumulating merit for three countless eons. The necessity of combining these two is that by cultivating the path in this way, one can purify the dharmas of samsara and gather the special interdependent origination that manifests the fruit. The necessity of cultivating in this way is that by offering to the deities, they are pleased and bless the mindstream, thereby preventing obstacles from arising, and it can

Accumulating vast amounts of even small collections, becomes the cause for generating extraordinary samadhi of the main practice. Second, accumulating the accumulation of wisdom: As explained in the tantras and individual sadhanas, the four liberations, three, three purifications, appearance-mind, and settling the mind in emptiness. Although many methods are taught for this, here it is sufficient to contemplate the meaning of the mantra of shunyata (Skt. Śūnyatā). It is not contradictory to first analyze with reason, as some teachers do, but it is not absolutely necessary, because even a person who does not understand rational analysis can realize the meaning by practicing the instructions taught by the guru. For example, just as one can taste the flavor even without knowing the source and color of brown sugar. If you think that you cannot refute characteristics without rational analysis, then meditating on the deity's form in the generation stage, and practicing the channels, winds, bindus, letters, etc. in the completion stage, would also require analyzing them in terms of oneness and separateness, but no qualified person has ever said such a thing. In general, even for the tradition of first analyzing, one remains in equanimity without clinging to anything in the meaning that has already been analyzed. Those who say that even during the actual state of equanimity, one needs a strong clinging to the idea that selflessness is not truly existent, are speaking against the profound meaning of this Dharma, but it should be understood that previous scholars have already made extensive refutations of these. Regarding emptiness, there are two types: blocking appearances and not blocking appearances. Here, one remains in equanimity in the state of blocking appearances and not thinking of anything. If appearances are blocked, then this accumulation of wisdom is either a practice for death or a path, because at the time of death all appearances dissolve. Those who need rational analysis are not compatible with what is to be practiced. Thus, one remains without conceptualizing anything about emptiness, i.e., emptiness is the nature of the wisdom vajra self. (Tibetan: སྟོང་ཉིད་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེའི་བདག་ཉིད་ངའོ། , Sanskrit: Śūnyatājñānavajrasvabhāvo'ham, Romanized Sanskrit: shunyata jnana vajra svabhavo 'ham, Literal Chinese meaning: Emptiness wisdom vajra self nature I). Like this, emptiness is experienced through reason, and in the subsequent attainment, one should also develop the pride of the wisdom vajra self of the Buddhas. Thus, accumulating the accumulation of wisdom, for the basis, the Dharma of samsara, is practiced in accordance with the form of death, and for the Dharma of the result, it is also the true extreme.
