It is taught for obtaining coolness and patience with anger, for supreme union and mindfulness, and for understanding the ultimate meaning. Thus it is said. The second is: Again, in that very (sutra) it says: The latter arises dependent on the former, because of dwelling in the inferior and the supreme, and because of the gross and the subtle, these are taught in order. Thus it is said. The third is, in that very (sutra) it says: Generosity diminishes opposing factors, possesses non-conceptual wisdom, completely fulfills all desires, and matures sentient beings in three ways. Up to wisdom diminishes opposing factors, up to three ways of acting. Thus it is said. That is, taking generosity as an example, generosity diminishes the opposing factor of miserliness, is grasped by the wisdom that does not focus on the three—generosity, the giver, and the receiver—and generosity itself completely fulfills the desires of all sentient beings, and based on that, it causes sentient beings to mature into enlightenment, possessing four special qualities. It should be understood that the same applies to the remaining (five perfections). The fourth is that generosity has three aspects: giving material things, giving the Dharma, and giving fearlessness. Ethical discipline has three aspects: the virtue of restraining misdeeds, the virtue of gathering Dharma, and the virtue of benefiting sentient beings. Patience has three aspects: accepting suffering, not minding harm, and having definite conviction in the Dharma. Diligence has three aspects: armor-like diligence, applying diligence, and benefiting sentient beings. Meditation has three aspects: dwelling in bliss in this life, accomplishing qualities, and benefiting sentient beings. Wisdom has three aspects: knowing the conventional, knowing the ultimate, and the wisdom of knowing the benefit of sentient beings. Among these six perfections, the first three are the accumulation of merit, and the latter three are the accumulation of wisdom, as explained by Chandrakirti. As it is said: These three dharmas, such as generosity, are mostly praised by the Sugatas for householders. These are also called the accumulation of merit, the cause of the Buddha's form body, the nature of the body. Thus it is said. Maitreya, the Regent, said that the first two are the accumulation of merit, the latter is the accumulation of wisdom, and the middle three are included in both accumulations. As it is also said in the Ornament of Sutras: Generosity and ethical discipline are the accumulation of merit, wisdom is wisdom, the other three are both, or all five are.

That is, the accumulation of wisdom. Also, in the Ratnavali it is said: Discipline and generosity are for the benefit of others, Diligence and patience are for one's own nature, Meditation and wisdom are the cause of liberation, With love, everything is accomplished. It is also said like that. Furthermore, when a Bodhisattva engages in activities for the benefit of others, four objects of collection are needed, the detailed explanation of this is in the chapter on Paramitas. These are not different in substance from those six Paramitas, namely, material generosity and Dharma generosity, and causing others to enter into the meaning of the six perfections and also entering oneself, the order is generosity, loving speech, beneficial action, and acting in accordance with the meaning, that is: Generosity and the like, he shows, Holding and causing to enter, Loving speech and beneficial action, And the nature of acting in accordance with the meaning, Such as and so on. Fifth, the difference between real and imputed, some are Real Paramitas are only possessed by the Buddha, and generosity and the like on the path, are imputed because they are the accomplishment of that, in the Madhyamakavatara it is said: Although real for the sake of the Bodhi of the complete Buddha, But if there are three objects, it is the mundane truth, If there is no object, it is the Buddha himself, Showing the transcendental Paramita. It is said that the six perfections also exist in reality in the paths of individual beings, but here for the time being, in terms of the aspects of Sutras and Shastras being more numerous, those in the continuum of the noble ones are real, and those in the accumulation and application are imputed, as such it should be known. Although it is like that, generosity and the like that do not possess the four limbs are not permissible in either real or imputed Paramitas. Thus, by abiding in the practice of the six Paramitas on the path of application, the path of seeing will arise, and after that one will enter into the faultless, that is, the nature of the arising of the path of seeing. After that, up to the seventh Bhumi, is the Bhumi of completely maturing sentient beings, and the eighth and ninth Bhumis are the Bhumis of purifying the fields, and the tenth Bhumi is the Bhumi of non-abiding Nirvana, the eleventh Bhumi, the Bhumi of Universal Light or the Bhumi of Buddhahood is the supreme Bodhi, that is, oneself manifesting the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit, and not abiding.
