And also spoke of the differences that are not the same. In some action tantras, the classification of the five paths and ten bhumis is said to be similar to the general Mahayana; while in the explicit teachings of the Manjushri Root Tantra, it says: Accumulating merit for countless kalpas, transforming into the excellent White Banner in Tushita, and then being born into the Shakya clan, etc., from being at home to leaving home and completely renouncing, practicing asceticism for six years, sitting under the Bodhi tree, before that he is an ordinary being, and then subduing the demons, with vajra-like samadhi, instantly cutting off all that is to be abandoned and realizing perfect complete enlightenment, which is in accordance with the Hinayana Vinaya. Then, in order, he proclaimed the first turning of the wheel of Dharma that leads to the path of peace, the middle turning of the wheel of Dharma of all Buddhas' speech, and the final turning of the wheel of Dharma in which the teacher himself manifested his experience. Then, in Shravasti, he subdued the heretics, descended from the heavens in the city of Mitabha, and after going to the Thirty-Three Heavens, he placed countless beings such as gods in the truth, and then resided in the sky above the Pure Abode, saying that he proclaimed the Mantra Vehicle. The tantras that teach such paths and fruits have six lineages: the Tathagata lineage, the Vajra lineage, the Lotus lineage, which are the three transcendental lineages; the Jewel lineage, the Five-Peak lineage, and the ordinary worldly lineage, which are the three worldly lineages. Thus, there are six. If divided extensively, each of the three transcendental lineages has a lord of the lineage, a master of the lineage, a mother of the lineage, a crowned one, wrathful deities male and female of the lineage, messengers male and female of the lineage, and Bodhisattvas included in the Tathagata lineage, as well as the Pure Abode gods, etc., divided into eight or seven tantra classes, etc., and the rest are divided into categories that are appropriate to them. If all are summarized, they are included in four lineages, namely the three transcendental lineages and the worldly wanderers. Thus, the six lineages are also included in three, as stated in the notes of the commentary on the condensed meaning of the Good Protector: The wealthy are included in the Lotus lineage, and the vast are included in the Vajra lineage.
