Speaking and cutting off is cutting. After that, Improving on the previous meditation is the degree of completion. This also applies to the following situations. Second, cutting off the beginningless demon. The meaning of the beginningless demon: not relying on external causes, even without causes, liking or disliking, being happy or sad, joyful or worried, fear, etc., the arising of high and low distinctions, these are the demons. When these thoughts arise from the path, cut them off with the syllable ཕཊ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, phaṭ, cutting) and rest in the Dharmadhatu. Third, cutting off the demon of joy. Attachment to the goodness of the Lama and the excellent lineage, as well as the increase of one's own virtuous practice, or the fulfillment of favorable conditions, etc., and the feeling of joy and happiness arising from pride, this is the demon of joy. Cut it off into the Dharmadhatu as before. Fourth, cutting off the demon of arrogance. Whatever thoughts and attachments arise, all are demons of arrogance. Whatever appears, dispel it into the Dharmadhatu with the syllable ཕཊ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, phaṭ, cutting) as before, and it will be cut off. This includes the previous three. Before this, going to a solitary place without the experience of relying on one's own strength is empty and false. The foundation of meditation must be laid before this. Going to a solitary place is to improve practice, so it must be understood in this way. Third, subsequent practice is divided into three aspects: peaceful cutting, fierce cutting, and cutting that combines peacefulness and fierceness. The first is: in one's own residence, strongly cultivate loving-kindness and compassion for all sentient beings in four sessions. It is important to do the white offering in all four sessions. That is, three human head tripods appear in front of oneself. One's mind, in the form of Vajravarahi, comes out from between the eyebrows. Cut off the skull and place it on the tripod. Cut the rest of one's body into pieces and put them in it. Its extent becomes as vast as the edge of space. Reciting ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Om Ah Hum, body, speech, and mind) becomes an ocean of nectar. Invite the root and lineage Lamas, Yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, Dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardian deities. By offering to them, they are all satisfied and delighted. By giving to all sentient beings in the six realms, they are temporarily satisfied and ultimately purify all sins and obscurations. By scattering the remaining nectar, countless offering goddesses are transformed.

Then, contemplate offering with inconceivable offerings, and know that all of this is your own mind. Focus intently on its essence, recite "ཕཊ་" (Tibetan, फट, phaṭ, phaṭ, meaning "smash") and merge the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Again, remember that these are the paths, and again recite "ཕཊ་" (Tibetan, फट, phaṭ, phaṭ, meaning "smash") and merge the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Do this many times. When you have meditated in this way and your focus is somewhat proficient, direct your intention to whatever charnel ground you are going to. Generally, cultivate intense loving-kindness and compassion for all sentient beings, and especially for the local deities, spirits, demons, and so on of that charnel ground. Repeat the visualization of the white offering from before, doing this for two or three days. When traveling on the road, also meditate on the alternating practice of loving-kindness and compassion and merging with the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. When you arrive at the place, find a significant spot and sit down. First, offer scattered tormas to the local deities and spirits, a general torma to the dakinis, a torma to the local deities, a torma to the obstructors, and so on, to the best of your ability. It is very important to cultivate intense loving-kindness and compassion during these offerings. Then, engage in the four preliminaries, such as taking refuge, intensely and for a long time. After that, repeat the visualization of the white offering many times, as before. Again, cultivate intense loving-kindness and compassion, generally for the sentient beings of the six realms, and especially focusing on the spirits and demons of this charnel ground. Direct your awareness intently towards that place and the spirits and demons, etc., that appear as sentient beings, recite "ཕཊ་" (Tibetan, फट, phaṭ, phaṭ, meaning "smash") merge with the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, and rest without grasping. Again, cultivate compassion. Again, meditate on merging with the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, and so on, meditating only on these. Whatever signs and miracles may occur, focus on both merging with the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu and cultivating compassion. Whether intense miracles occur or not, in the end, when the habitual tendencies of the place have subsided and virtuous activity has increased, it means that you have reached the point of completion. As a way of giving thanks for the increase in virtuous activity, make the white offering many times with a sense of gratitude, and offer tormas to the yidam deities and dakinis, and give extensive tormas to the local deities. Recite whatever aspiration prayers you know. Meditate in the same way on the road, and when you arrive at your own place, offer whatever thanksgiving offerings you know to the Three Jewels. The second method is: first, in your own dwelling, practice a session of meditation similar to the Shiwa Chö practice, and at the end of the session, visualize the red offering.
