Having approached to be the regent on the throne of Ge, formerly, during the time of Jye Sangye Yarjon, the supreme laws were strictly in place. Those who ascended to the throne in succession also generally made all the laws more complete. However, due to the influence of time, some parts had deteriorated, and they restored them to their original state. For example, the thirteen rules of the Dharma Lord's Thirteen Assemblies and the thirteen monastic rules of the Gling were implemented as they had been promulgated by Jye Sangye Yarjon at that time. That was when he ascended to the throne in the first month of the Wood Female Bird year (year unspecified). When he ascended the throne and performed the enthronement ceremony, many miraculous omens appeared, such as a rain of flowers falling. In particular, the sun, moon, and stars appeared together, and all the ice in the Phu Chu melted into waterfalls, etc. These events occurred as auspicious signs, indicating that the religious and political affairs of the Taklung Kagyu lineage would continue uninterruptedly. There, the jurisdiction of Taklung Lhade included all Tibetan nomadic tribes, and everything was done according to the good traditions of the past, all of which were returned to them. In short, he was empowered as the ruler of the religious and political affairs of the Taklung Kagyu lineage. In the boundless realms of the ten directions, To you, the infinite protector and king, With all the wealth of worldly and peaceful perfections, You are empowered as the sole chief of the sons. Bestowing the feast of joy of worldly and peaceful bliss upon all beings, Hoisting the banners of auspicious victory in all directions, You are the guide who provides sustenance to all beings. You are manifestly seated on the steadfast lion throne. At that time, the guides of the ten directions, together with their sons, In the divine path of minds of utmost joy, Uttering auspicious words a hundred times and showering flowers, Completely preventing all directions from approaching. In the center of all the upholders of the teachings, a crown of joy, With a hundred auspicious signs manifestly blazing, To the incomparable wish-fulfilling jewel, Again and again, contemplating, faith arises from the heart. This third section is the story that begins with the enthronement ceremony of the regent. For us followers, this sacred guide, among the successive thrones of Taklung Kagyu, is also the one who has illuminated the precious teachings in both religious and political aspects, is Jye Rinpoche.

These deeds are unparalleled in the world. Soon after, the great disciple of Karmapa, the wise and virtuous one revered by all in the Kagyu school, namely Dharma King Pawo Tsuklak Trengwa, also paid homage to Rinchen Pung's lotus feet with respectful prostrations. Because of his great fame, the monks of Taklung Monastery all heard his teachings. Upon his return, the Kagyu Dharma King came to invite offerings, and after the Dharma assembly ended, everyone respectfully folded their hands towards the Kagyu Dharma King. Thus, they invoked the compassion of all Buddhas, wishing him longevity, health, and the flourishing of his activities, and then departed. Thus, even those arrogant ones who are especially respected by kings and who strive for power, although renowned, even those who are unwilling to humble themselves before the supports of body, speech, and mind, are subdued by the light of such compassion and respectfully prostrate, what need is there to mention others? Thereafter, they wished to build the golden pinnacle of the Tsuglagkhang Temple, which shone brightly and was about forty cubits high. Therefore, highly skilled craftsmen were invited from Nepal. First, they cast a statue made of pure silver, equal in height to Je Tsongkhapa, which was carefully crafted by the craftsmen. After that, they began to build the golden pinnacle. The gilding of this golden pinnacle cost nine hundred and ninety-five liang of gold. Inside, there were relics such as sharira, bone relics, relics the size of mustard seeds, as well as sacred objects such as mantra wheels. According to the tradition practiced by all wise ones, it was carried out as if it were a direct transmission. Rinchen Pung also personally enshrined the sacred objects. The consecration ceremony was also grand and unparalleled, leaving people amazed. And with abundant food and offerings, the craftsmen were satisfied. Before and after this, Kunpang Rinpoche Namgyal Tashi himself also repeatedly prayed that the Dharma would spread widely and that all wishes would be fulfilled. Therefore, all the great undertakings such as building statues were able to be completed smoothly.
