Ground is not merely an object of investigation; although ultimate truth is established by reason, it is not just that. Because it obscures the true meaning, it is conventional truth; because it is the object of supreme realization, it is ultimate truth. Conventional truth is true only in conventional truth; that which is true only in ultimate truth is ultimate truth. There are two kinds of truth: truth in the face of attachment and truth in the face of appearance. Because it is conventional truth, it is generally false. That which has conventional truth as its object is consciousness with its retinue; that which has ultimate truth as its object is only wisdom. The path is that which follows ultimate truth as its object; the actual realizers are self-nature, without difference. Inference, reasoning, the five senses, and consciousness measure conventional truth; that which realizes ultimate truth is non-conceptual. There is reasoning that measures the general meaning of the holy; self-awareness is divided into conventional truth and ultimate truth. In the face of worldly fame, there are two truths: conventional truth and true truth. In our own system, there are merely conventional truth and conventional truth. Apply the completely imputed and the other-dependent to the two in order. In conventional truth, there are also one's own conventional truth and ultimate truth, namely two and mere consciousness. The difference of ultimate truth is twofold: classification and pervasion. The non-self-nature of conventional truth is merely classification. Merely free from elaboration and merely emptiness are also the same. Not understanding the absence of truth as it is is merely a general statement. If one understands it as it is, it will not appear as elaboration. Although the absence of truth and so on are refuted for the sake of the inferior, there is no difference between the absence of truth, freedom from elaboration, and mere emptiness. The pervasive ultimate truth is the wisdom of essence. Or, in ultimate truth itself, there is a distinction between the two truths. Distinguish by the part free from duality and the reversal of wisdom. The basis for distinguishing the two truths is merely existence, measure, and knowable. Distinguish by the necessity of the two wisdoms, the two ways of realization, samsara and nirvana, and the practitioner, ordinary beings, and noble ones. In the face of wisdom, what is done is only one truth. These truths negate oneness. From the perspective of essence, it is neither one nor different. If it were one, liberation would be attained by seeing conventional truth, and the other would become the object of affliction. Just as there is no difference in that, conventional truth would change. Other than seeing and hearing, there would be no way to seek ultimate truth. If it were different, even if one saw ultimate truth, the clinging to conventional truth could not be reversed, and it would not be the nature of reality. If there were no conventional truth, ultimate truth would not exist, and both would simultaneously become objects, as it is said. The characteristics of ultimate truth are applied to the two as appropriate. The way to establish the nature of the two truths is that the protector, the teacher, others, and I exchange words.

It appears as illusory, yet the truth is emptiness, The nature of reality is unchanging, the two wisdoms are true. The object of grasping is like an illusion, shown with purpose, The grasper is like an illusion, examples of illusion. Just like an illusion, It is said to be a false imputation. How the appearance of an illusion is, Likewise, it is said to be mistaken as dual. Just as that does not exist in that, Likewise, it is considered the ultimate truth. Just as that is like an object of focus, Likewise, it is considered the conventional truth. Thus, ultimate truth and conventional truth, Are established in a temporary state. The mere consciousness is also, The ultimate truth of a temporary state. If that does not exist, then its cause, How can it be clearly focused? Likewise, if the state transforms, Then a false imputation is focused on. Just as the world is not confused, It uses its causes as desired. Likewise, the diligent practitioner is not confused, He uses the transformed state with joy as desired. Such a thing exists in that, But its entity does not exist. Therefore, in illusions and so on, It is said to be both existent and nonexistent. What exists in that is not nonexistent, What is nonexistent is not existent. In illusions and so on, It is also said that there is no difference between existence and nonexistence. Likewise, dualistic appearance exists in that, But its entity does not exist. Therefore, in forms and so on, It is said to be both existent and nonexistent. What exists in that is not nonexistent, What is nonexistent is not existent. In forms and so on, It is also said that there is no difference between existence and nonexistence. In order to refute the extremes of superimposition and denial, And in order to refute beings by the inferior vehicle, This is what is intended. The cause of confusion and the confusion, Are the consciousness of the form, And the consciousness of the non-form. Since one is nonexistent, the other also becomes nonexistent. Grasping the form of an illusory elephant, Because of confusion, it is said to be dualistic. Although there is no duality in that as it is, It is closely focused on as two. Grasping the form of a skeleton, Because of confusion, it is said to be dualistic. Although there is no duality in that as it is, It is closely focused on as two. What is the characteristic of confusion? Likewise, existent and likewise, nonexistent. Because there is no difference between existence and nonexistence, Existence and nonexistence are like illusion. What is the antidote? Likewise, nonexistent and likewise, existent. Likewise, because of nonexistence, the characteristic
