D. The latter two exist only in accordance with the ultimate truth, while the other three are established as existing in the conventional truth. Name and reason are not other than themselves. Suchness and the four dharmas are also inexpressible. The object of conceptualization is the characteristic reason. The term 'name' is the characteristic of the place. Reason as an object is conceptualization. The latter two are also the object and the subject. The reason is general, and the name is completely imputed. Thought and knowledge are characterized by other-dependence. Suchness is the immutable perfection. The arrangement of reasons applies to all four truths, but name is included only in the truth of suffering. Except for the truth of cessation, the three are by conceptualization, and the four truths by suchness. The path truth, which aims at all, is the correct knowledge. The two aspects of grasping and being grasped are one in ultimate truth. The first two are merely conventional, and the third is said to be the conventional truth itself. The last two are categories of ultimate reality. The term 'dharma' means that which understands the meaning of dharma. It is also called 'thing,' or the knowable that is the basis. All these five are thoroughly considered as the five dharmas. All bases are subject to three characteristics: the imputed part that is examined by speech is completely imputed, the other consciousness that arises from its own causes and conditions, and the perfect reality that is originally established as the nature of reality. The mind-consciousness that completely imputes is conceptualization. The other is habit, and by its power, the alaya-consciousness appears to be endowed with consciousness. The original meaning is only the nature of dharma, and it is distinguished from all by way of relation. The venerable one's verses say: How one knows the meaning of what is said, the reason is its habit, and from that, the appearance of meaning is the characteristic of complete imputation. How are name and meaning, whatever appears as meaning and name, the reason for non-true thought is the characteristic of complete imputation. The three kinds of appearances, the characteristic of grasping and being grasped, the non-true imputation is the characteristic of other-dependence. Whatever is non-existence and existence itself, existence and non-existence are equality, non-pacification and pacification and non-discrimination, is the characteristic of perfect reality. What is imputed and other-dependent, and perfect reality itself.
