Growth and vastness depend on dedicating entirely with great aspirations. The third root division, the actual aspiration that causes growth, is from "Perfect Buddhas wherever they reside" onwards. There are three aspects: summary, detailed explanation, and benefits. The first is a single verse: Perfect Buddhas who currently reside in the world, those who have shown the manner of passing away, and those who will appear in the future, whatever their intentions, however they speak, whatever they do, may I also learn like them and practice the conduct of enlightenment. The conduct of enlightenment is the conduct aimed at enlightenment, that is, all that becomes the cause of perfect enlightenment and all the activities at the time of fruition. Therefore, whatever all the Buddhas of the three times have done, may I also do, and may I practice all the conduct of enlightenment. Here, all aspirations are gathered. The second is the detailed explanation, the aspiration related to the main practice, the aspiration related to ultimate emptiness, The aspiration that extensively shows the six perfections, and the aspiration of the ultimate result. The first is, the six perfections, etc., which are the collection of all the practices of a Bodhisattva, may I perfect the six perfections, and from the aspect of benefiting others, may I establish the beings of the six realms in liberation through the four objects of gathering, and having manifested the six types of clairvoyance, which are the nature of power and strength, may I attain unsurpassed enlightenment. This shows that the six perfections, the four objects of gathering, and clairvoyance are the main practices. Although the six perfections and the four objects of gathering are not different from the perspective of essence, they are only different in terms of classification. For the practice of enlightenment, if divided from the perspective of self-cultivation, it is the six perfections, if divided from the perspective of benefiting others, it is the four objects of gathering, and if the differences of the causes of benefiting others are shown separately, it is the six clairvoyances. The first of these is, the perfection of generosity, and ethics, and patience, and diligence, and meditation, and wisdom.

This is to cross over to the other shore. These also have vast and untainted, meaningful and inexhaustible qualities. The qualities of the Bodhisattvas should be understood as fourfold. As it is said, for each of the giving and so on, one must do the most difficult, then others need not be mentioned. To study and practice all the objects of study, is the quality of being vast. Abandoning the hope for reward and maturation, and the thought of afflictions such as self-cherishing, is the quality of being untainted. Transforming one's own roots of virtue for the sake of others, and placing others in giving and so on, and then letting them enter into emptiness, Bodhicitta, as well as faith, joy, and dedication, because it is inseparable from benefiting others, is the quality of being meaningful. Giving, the giver, the receiver, etc., all six, each of the three wheels of nature are taken by inconceivable wisdom, is the quality of being inexhaustible. From the very first practitioner, striving to cultivate the four qualities is the cause or practice of crossing over to the other shore. After attaining the ground, the four qualities arise spontaneously, which is profound and vast and difficult to measure, and is the actual perfection of crossing over to the other shore, which is encompassed by the path. The summary is: contradiction and initial entry, growth and great accomplishment, the ultimate destination is the unfavorable side. The Dharma that cuts off between these, such as stinginess and the six, are the contradictory and unfavorable side. Procrastination and cowardice towards the great, and contempt for the small, and laziness are the unfavorable side for the initial entry. Thinking of contentment is the unfavorable side for growth. Expecting reward and fame and maturation, as well as relatives in this life and the next, and for competition, and contempt for others, etc., which are related to afflictions, are the unfavorable side for the accomplishment of great fruit. Focusing on self-interest and clinging to characteristics is the unfavorable side for ultimate accomplishment. Thus, completely abandoning these five unfavorable sides is explained by separating from the meaning of untaintedness, and it is very important to abandon these in order to become a practice of crossing over to the other shore. If one relies on the respective antidotes of these, then the manifestation of these will cease, because.
