And, the absence of aging and death is solely the Bodhi of the Buddha, which is also considered to be combined with the stages of the three types of individuals. Among them, the true absence of aging and death is only that, because the Hearers and Solitary Realizers have not abandoned the ground of ignorance and habitual tendencies, nor the uncontaminated actions, therefore, in the mind-made body, there are many distinctions of birth and death belonging to it. However, because they have abandoned the birth and death of the three realms of samsara, they are also known as the absence of aging and death in common parlance. Therefore, since this is entering the uncommon path of the Great Vehicle, it is not absolutely necessary to combine it with the three types of individuals. For the time being, the usual explanation is as previously stated. Secondly, because of being under the control of the mind, etc., the mind is the Alaya-vijñana (ground consciousness). Because there are habitual tendencies of karma and afflictions in it, and the power is strong, it can also be said that sins are accumulated because of the manifestation of afflictions. In reality, it is being controlled by the mind, that is, afflictions such as attachment. Here, the motivation of affliction, the actual action, the object of confession, and the actual confession are each a phrase, and the meaning of the words is easy to understand. "Being controlled by..." indicates refutation, and "sin" indicates reversing what is unpleasant. "Buddha" indicates the support, subtly throwing out the white seed. Thirdly, which of the three types of my actions, etc., the three actions can be explained as the actions of body, speech, and mind, but here, because the ritual of generating aspiration for Bodhicitta has an actual connection with the detailed words in the ritual from the tradition of Gyaltsab Jampa (རྒྱལ་ཚབ་བྱམས་པ་, incarnation of Maitreya), it should be explained as follows: the merit of my actions of giving, actions of moral discipline, and actions of meditation, that is, the virtuous actions, all that has been accumulated from beginningless samsara until now, is taken hold of by the mind of Bodhi, and is established with the aim of attaining Buddhahood, that is, as the seed of the collection of causes for attaining Buddhahood in the future, or the root of growth, from this virtuous action, may other virtuous actions be greatly increased, may I become a Buddha for the benefit of sentient beings. This is how to think. The "may it be" here is not only making an aspiration, but is the ritual of receiving the aspiration mind. Therefore, the "seed" here refers to the kind that can grow.

Yes, it is impossible for any sentient being to not have virtuous roots in their continuum, whether the two types of virtuous roots have matured or not. Just that alone cannot truly transform into a cause of increase, but if the seed of virtue is nourished again by a new virtue, and is held by the altruistic Bodhicitta, then, how wonderful it would be if I could become a Buddha in the future with the power of all my new and old virtues! From now on, from this virtue, increase other virtues, and generate the genuine thought that I will become a Buddha, then, such a seed of virtue is the cause of increase, the basis for the growth of all Dharma paths, and it will not be exhausted until Bodhi is attained, and it is very stable. In the future, all the virtues that one has done, whether or not they are held by Bodhicitta, will cause it to increase, so they are all causes of increase. Therefore, in the great Bodhicitta ritual: I, named so-and-so, from beginningless Samsara until today, the virtuous roots arising from generosity, arising from discipline, arising from meditation, what I have done, what I have encouraged, and the virtuous roots arising from rejoicing in what others have done. It says: This virtuous root. In this treatise, it seems to be briefly said: The accumulation of merit that I have accumulated in any of the three ways is the seed of my omniscience. Here, virtuous root and seed also become synonyms. In a very brief statement, recite: By the merit of my generosity, etc. What is called my Bodhi refers to: The Bodhi that I will attain in the future, until Samsara exists, until space exists, may my body, wisdom, and activity never be exhausted. Because this inexhaustibility is not present in the Bodhi of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, it is a characteristic of unsurpassed Bodhi. Dedicating the virtue to the Dharmadhatu and becoming one with the Dharmadhatu can also become a special cause of inexhaustibility. Ultimately, inexhaustibility is the Dharmadhatu, and the practitioner himself also merges into the Dharmadhatu with primordial wisdom and the three inexhaustibles.
