At the end, it says: "These kings of aspirations are the supreme lord, benefiting limitless beings, and the realm adorned by Samantabhadra's aspirations is accomplished, may all the abodes of evil destinies be emptied." This statement comes from the Sutra. It does not appear in the commentaries I mentioned earlier, and it is said that it is also absent in the commentary by Buddhakirti. It is said that the translators who translated this scripture and commentary, such as Pagor Vairocana Rakshita, did so in the manner of translating aspirations. I also think so, and the meaning is good. These kings of aspirations can accomplish the supreme lord Buddha, benefit limitless beings, and especially empty all the abodes of evil destinies in all ten directions, making every place a special realm adorned with Samantabhadra's aspirations. Therefore, the last three verses, because they do not come from the 'Trunk Adornment Sutra,' even if they are not quoted, there is no fault of omission, it should be known. Here it is said: This profound and vast noble aspiration is not the realm of ignorant beings like me, but in order to purify my own wisdom, I follow the teachings of the saints, and I think there is no fault. From the self-manifestation of emptiness and compassion, from the realm of samadhi, from the world of the saints, from the mind-made body and the inconceivable birth and death, transference and endless transformations, these are the realms of the Buddhas and great Bodhisattvas, not the realms of others. This aspiration fully reveals its meaning, therefore it is the sole realm of the noble ones. This is an intermediate verse. The perfect intention of the Bodhisattvas is also contained in the eight kinds of great man's discriminations. Bodhisattvas manifest and tend towards these eight discriminations day and night. In summary: eliminating suffering and wealth, self-interest and entering evil destinies, fulfilling hopes and rescuing from samsara, being unhelpful to sentient beings and being without desire, the eighth is the exchange of self and others. The first discrimination is:

Thinking about when will I be able to eliminate the suffering of all sentient beings. The second thought is: Thinking about when will I be able to place poor sentient beings in great wealth. The third thought is: Thinking about when will this body of flesh and blood benefit sentient beings. The fourth thought is: Thinking about when, even if I fall into the lower realms, will I be able to benefit sentient beings. The fifth thought is: Thinking about when will I be able to fulfill the wishes of sentient beings with worldly and transworldly wealth, namely, miraculous powers, enjoyments, merits, and virtues. The sixth thought is: Thinking about when will I become a Buddha and liberate sentient beings from samsara. The seventh thought is: If I cannot bring great benefit to sentient beings, even if I have an extremely perfect birth, conduct, and enjoyment, I will never desire it, and even the movement of a hair and the intake and outflow of breath, I think about when will I be able to benefit only sentient beings. The eighth is the aspiration that the sins and sufferings of sentient beings may ripen upon me, and may I cause happiness and virtue to arise in sentient beings. These are the roots of the aspirations of the Bodhisattvas—perfect intention. For this, the real aspiration is not verbal expression, but mental thought. As it is said in the scriptures: The aspiration of the steadfast is accompanied by thought and desire. Therefore, in this case, for these eight places where aspiration should be made, constantly thinking about them and desiring to obtain them is the real aspiration. These contents are also clearly explained by this treatise. The first thought of a great person is the wish for sentient beings to be without suffering and happy, namely: May all sentient beings in the ten directions always be free from illness and happy. The second is the wish to obtain wealth, namely: The words of purifying the field and offering, and all these actions will be fulfilled. The third is to benefit sentient beings with one's own body, namely: Body, speech, and mind are also completely pure, etc. Because the three doors are practiced for the benefit of others, they will become pure.
