It is the collection, wisdom and knowledge of, The three others are of the two, The five are all collections of knowledge, As it is said. Skillful in means, with small collections accomplishing great meanings, small causes giving rise to great effects, is the function of perfect wisdom. The meaning of this verse is vast, wide, and inconceivable. Thus, having abided in the holy ground, having accomplished the body of the nature of mind, and having obtained the power to see all the realms of the Victorious Ones, one can behold and make offerings to all the Buddhas. Showing that meaning: On one atom are atom-like realms, In those realms are inconceivable Buddhas, In the center of the Buddha's sons they dwell, Practicing and beholding the practice of enlightenment. On one atom, one can also see Buddha-fields equal to the number of atoms in the ten directions of the world. In those fields, countless inconceivable Buddhas dwell in the center of the Buddha's sons, the Bodhisattvas. Like them, together practicing the practice of enlightenment, may I behold their bodies and hear their speech. Here, for those who have just attained the holy ground, although it is not possible to see all the Buddhas like the number of atoms in a field at once, one can see various Buddhas and Buddha-fields according to the size of the ground. Then, gradually increasing, one will obtain endless increase. Therefore, although one does not actually obtain it immediately after obtaining the first ground, one has joined the practice like the number of atoms in a field. Although the way of arising in the continuum is like that, when making aspirations, one trains from the vast place, so only that is mentioned here. Thus, The Sumeru mountain king enters into a mustard seed, one atom can pervade the ten directions, etc. The realm of meditative absorption has no width or narrowness. It is only when one obtains the tolerance of non-arising dharma on the eighth ground. Relying on their freedom, thus without remainder in all directions, the amount of hair-tip is equal to the three times, the ocean of Buddhas and the ocean of realms, in the ocean of kalpas, acting and entering.

Just as many Buddha-fields are arranged in one pore, so too, in all directions, without exception or omission, within an area as small as the tip of a hair, there are immeasurable amounts of the three times. The Buddhas who have appeared in the three times, as numerous as the ocean and impossible to count, each with their own Buddha-fields, the Buddha-fields are inexhaustible like the ocean, and each of them lasts for as many eons as the ocean, which are impossible to exhaust. I, too, in each Buddha-field, will practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and will fully enter into it, may I see and be liberated from it! In some commentaries, the phrase "an area as small as the tip of a hair" is explained as "on the path of a child," and it is interpreted as an impure Buddha-field, or only as Jambudvipa, etc. Because these explanations are not appropriate, they have not been adopted. To show the Buddha-field within a single atom, It is like in a dream, in a narrow room, a herd of elephants and forests and so on appear to be happily playing, and one can remember it even when awake. Also, like the sun, moon, stars, countries, etc. in a water vessel, appearing as reflections in the water. This is just a manifestation of the mind, and the power of dependent origination, so it is not contradictory that it appears in this way. Because the power and strength of yoga are inconceivable, one should have deep faith in this. Even more inconceivable than secrets are the four inconceivabilities spoken of by the world's protector and savior: meditation, karma, nagas, and the nature of the Buddhas. This shows that the power of the meditation of meditators, the power of karma, the transformation of the Naga King, and the power of the Buddhas are inconceivable. This, as it is perfectly completed, is the quality up to the Dharmamegha level. And what is in accordance with it or has begun is up to the immovable ground. Entering into all the teachings of the Victorious Ones: In the sound of one speech, the branches are like the ocean, All the Victorious Ones have perfectly pure branches of melodious sound, In accordance with the minds of all beings, I will always enter into the Buddha's wonderful speech. If one Tathagata speaks only one teaching, that is also a branch like the ocean, because the nature of the teaching is complete, and only complete and different kinds of teachings are as boundless as the ocean.
