Therefore, the purity of the fruit and the purity of self-nature are indistinguishable, which is exactly how to obtain the meaning as it should be. When such wisdom of the path of seeing and the path of meditation arises in the continuum, various benefits will also arise, as stated in the "Extensive Sutra." The nature of the base consciousness has been explained above. The base consciousness in the continuum of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, or even in the continuum of Bodhisattvas, if it does not possess skillful means, is far from the realm of Dharma, while possessing skillful means is close. However, it is impossible for noble Bodhisattvas not to possess skillful means, and since the base consciousness of ordinary beings is not the base consciousness, if it is thought that Mahayana practitioners do not have a base consciousness that is far from the realm of Dharma, then, because the practice of the base consciousness is nominally established as the base consciousness, ordinary beings also have it. The so-called non-concordant base consciousness is a name for a distinction of non-concordant qualities when the realization of the Great Vehicle transforms. The base consciousness of Hearers and Solitary Realizers is also included in it, but mainly it refers to Bodhisattvas themselves. When they meditate on the selflessness of persons, if they generate grasping at reality and grasping at emptiness, that is its name. As it is said: "Forms and other aggregates are emptiness, The nature of all dharmas known in the three times, Giving and other aspects of enlightenment, The thought of conduct is a non-concordant quality." The antidote base consciousness is that when Bodhisattvas meditate on the selflessness of persons, they must also ensure that they are not tainted even by subtle attachment or mental activity that grasps at the Buddha as a sign. What need is there to mention preventing grasping and attachment to others? Therefore, meditating on the selflessness of persons is not like the appearance of consciousness or aggregates not being transformed, but rather it is the appearance of being free from all elaboration and being naturally luminous. Therefore, the conduct embraced by selflessness also abides in the emptiness of the three spheres and also establishes others. It is also said: "In giving and so on, there is no ego-grasping, Others also enter into this, This cuts off the extreme of attachment, Attachment to the Victorious Ones and so on is subtle. The path of Dharma is naturally secluded, Therefore, they are profound in nature, Knowing that the nature of all dharmas is one, By this, abandon all attachments." The meaning of the nature being one is the self-luminous nature.

It is known through oneness. The so-called "aspect of perfect union" is that the ultimate truth of Dharmata exists in all aspects, and the aspects of going to the perfection of wisdom are the aspects of objects. What is now called "meaning aspect" is the object of focus, and not all aspects are real. By meditating on these objects of focus, just as an image appears in a mirror, one's own awareness also appears to be exactly the same as those aspects. This is the aspect of the subject, which is now called "consciousness aspect." Therefore, it is no different from the perfect aspect itself. In this regard, it is said in the treatises and extensive sutras that the base knowledge has twenty-seven aspects of the four truths, the path knowledge has thirty-six aspects of the four truths, and the omniscient knowledge has eighteen different aspects. Among them, the aspects of the first two knowledges are all included in the aspects of the four truths. That is to say, although the cause and effect of illusion in the relative truth, which focuses on the four truths, are not extinguished, it is distinguished by being free from all nature's elaborations, and not clinging to self and what belongs to self. This is the aspect of the base knowledge. All phenomena of the relative truth, which are included in the four truths, are like interdependent illusions. In the ultimate truth, they are nothing, like the sky, free from elaboration. And all the virtuous dharmas that one has practiced are also abiding in the nature of being free from elaboration. This is the aspect of the path knowledge. The realm of the ultimate truth is like the sky, free from all elaborations, and this realm free from elaboration has initially appeared in all aspects, especially in the aspects of all virtuous dharmas such as the limbs of enlightenment, perfections, and ten powers. This is the aspect of omniscient knowledge. The way to practice after fully possessing such aspects is union, that is, non-clinging union, because it does not cling to any object, sign, or focus. Therefore, one does not cling to any dharma that has arisen, appeared, will arise, abides, increases, and exists, and the mind does not cling to these. The mind also does not cling to what has ceased, will not arise, has not arisen, has not met, has not gathered, has diminished, and does not exist. It does not abide in anything, does not go anywhere, does not stop anything, and does not change in any place.
