If one thinks like that, ultimate ignorance is not ignorance, and the cessation of ignorance, the ultimate, is also not the cessation of ignorance. Why would there be a contradiction? Similarly, regarding suffering and so on, here, suffering refers to the five aggregates of clinging together with their environment, the world as the container of beings, the objects of the inner body and mind, and all their experiences, which are related to any of the three sufferings, therefore it is suffering. If suffering is regarded as happiness, then it contradicts its own nature, and all actions will be deceptive. Knowing it as suffering is because it is a mind that conforms to the object. Because it is not deceptive from the perspective of experience, it is called truth. This non-deceptive truth is only directly realized by the noble ones, therefore it is the noble truth. The place, body, and enjoyment of samsara are truly suffering, which is the meaning of the noble truth of suffering. The so-called truth is not true in the face of the discriminating wisdom of ultimate truth, nor is it true in the nature of the samadhi of the noble ones, but it is true in the conventional valid cognition of the nominal world. The meaning of the noble truth, one aspect of the origin, path, and cessation is also the same. The origin is the cause of suffering. Generally speaking, anything that is suffering can be established as the origin, but here, the origin refers to karma and afflictions. The actual entity of the path truth is the newly arising wisdom included in the three paths of seeing, meditation, and no-more-learning, which are born from causes and conditions. What is in accordance with it is also the path of ordinary beings. The nature of the path truth is the eightfold noble path and the ten perfections, and so on. The most important of these are right view and the perfection of wisdom of the path. Cessation is divided into two types: temporary and ultimate. The first is the abandonment of obscurations newly abandoned through the practice of the path, which are the cessations of individual discrimination. The latter is the basis for the cessation of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, the essence of the naturally luminous sugatagarbha. This is considered to be the reality of all phenomena and is established in the nature of the samadhi wisdom of the noble ones.

Because it is a false truth. This also does not exist in the nature of conventional dharma. Because, like being falsely established and clung to by discrimination, it is not truly existent, so sometimes it can also be said that it does not exist. The cessation truth, when examined separately from the other three truths, is: In the conventional consciousness, it appears like an illusion and has no self-nature; in the face of ultimate wisdom, it also does not appear. Therefore, it does not exist from the beginning. The so-called "no wisdom," if spoken from the perspective of being skilled in ten things, refers to being skilled in the senses. But if spoken from the perspective of six things, it is included within being skilled in what is and is not the place. Regarding this, using the wisdom of understanding the four truths to abandon the seeds of afflictions is a reasonable place, while using worldly meditative absorptions to abandon them is not a place. Using the wisdom of understanding the selflessness of phenomena to abandon the obscurations to knowledge, and obtaining the corresponding means, is a place, but if lacking means, or without this wisdom, then obtaining omniscience is not a place. Combining it in this way, the mentioned wisdom and its function also belong to what is and is not the place. Actually, the wisdom of the path that understands the two selflessnesses does not exist in the ultimate sense. If it is said that "wisdom" also indirectly points to the wisdom of the dharmadhatu, then, because it is empty of duality, it is not a conditioned phenomenon, therefore it is said to be "no." No wisdom. If, as some versions say, "no unknowing," then it means that both wisdom and what it is to be abandoned have no self-nature. Wandering in samsara because of not understanding the meaning of the truth is a place, and not understanding the place of non-discrimination means that one cannot realize the path and fruit of the Great Vehicle is a place, and the opposite of this is not a place. The so-called "no obtaining," although most commentaries only connect it with obtaining enlightenment, here it is generally connected with obtaining and not obtaining. That is, any dharma, whatever it may be, has its increase and decrease, and the state of each stage. As it is said: "What is obtaining? That is, virtue and non-virtue, and unexplained dharmas, increase and decrease are obtaining, called obtaining and possessing." That is, the seeds of any dharma increase and strengthen, and the power weakens.
