Sixty, the one with the crown jewel came. After that, forty, all saviors came. In this auspicious eon, when people's life span can reach 40,000 years, the Bhagavan Vimala Prabha, at the time of the destruction of samsara, came into the world. At 30,000 years, Kanakamuni came. At 20,000 years, Kashyapa came. At the time of a life span of one hundred years, the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, the teacher Shakyamuni, came into the world. Thus, these seven Buddhas, from the time of first generating Bodhicitta, are extremely brave for the benefit of beings, hence they are known as the Seven Heroic Buddhas. In general, although there are countless Tathagatas similar to this, the reason for limiting it to seven is that, as far as this world is concerned, the time is also based on the absence of other Buddhas in between. These seven Tathagatas, the teachings of taming, all the subtle precepts are also the same. Other Buddhas, although the meaning of the essence is the same, the precepts established are different, because of the differences in the minds of the beings to be tamed in each region and era, more or less, broad or brief, wide or narrow, uncertain, and of many kinds. Therefore, in the holy land of India, wherever there is a true Buddha Dharma, it is very popular to build statues of the Seven Buddhas, to pray, and so on. In order to leave a special sign that it will flourish here as well, and the statues of the main Seven Heroic Buddhas reside here at the same time, not very small, temporarily all places are peaceful and happy, and ultimately all seeing, hearing, remembering, and touching will plant the seeds of liberation to the supreme ground, it seems to be more powerful than others, that's probably what it means. Moreover, the main object of worship in this great temple is the King of Sages, whose back is twenty-three cubits high. To his right is Bhagavan Vipashyin Buddha, and to the left of the Buddha image is Bhagavan Ratnaketu Buddha. To their right is the Tathagata All Savior, and to the left is the Defiled One.
