When looking at the place, a heart of devotion arose, free from all elaborations. Through the power of this unprecedented devotion, the nature of all dharmas, free from all elaborations, neither one nor many, inexpressible, like the sky, was realized. The realization of Mahamudra reached its peak. By gaining stability in the chakras within the central channel of the inner Kundalini, the signs of the knots of the channels being released were obtained. It is said that entering the ranks of yogis originated from that time. It is said that forty-six years had passed since the last time he met Lama Tirthanatha. In general, although I meditated for a very long time, pilgrimage also seemed to become a cause of distraction. In particular, until I met the great accomplished one, Shiwaba, my connection with other lamas was somewhat shallow, and I did not gain unwavering confidence in the meaning of reality beyond common qualities. In general, it is also said that because I had not heard the Damidor Dorje Ma, I had not attained the complete nature of emptiness related to the tantras of the Buddha's secret teachings. When returning from Oddiyana, great pride arose, thinking that I was now a great yogi. Also, because the mind of belittling others arose, it is said that for about twelve years after that, meditation did not yield great growth. Also, once, by disparaging some places that should be believed in the continent of Zhamigiri, it is said that the attainment of siddhis was delayed. Those were also with the intention of advising us and others who engage in erratic behavior to strive on the path. Otherwise, this holy one was undoubtedly inseparable from the accomplished master, the one with the robe of lawa. At that time, for about three months, he heard many unfinished instructions from the supreme teacher. From then on, a large assembly hall was built on Mount Khagendra. Gradually, the disciples of the peaceful teacher, all practitioners of secret mantras, gathered together. Again, after about three months, about five thousand male and female yogis appeared. The king also offered offerings worth six thousand gold coins every day, as well as other unimaginable necessities. The teachers and disciples held a grand assembly mandala, and during the daytime...

He profusely bestowed instructions and settled them individually in meditation. He extensively taught the profound tantras and the limitless scriptures of mantras. At night, he spent his time with mandala offerings. Each month, the king himself would come and offer each of those assembled a set of excellent clothes and four silver srangs as offerings. After six months, he offered each yogi ten gold mohars and so on, with limitless forms of offerings. In the subsequent five hundred years, there was no greater Vajrayana Dharma wheel in India than this. Relying on the instructions of the accomplished Zhiwa'i Zhab (Śāntipāda), scholars taught the tantras, and yogis who gained some ability performed many tsok offerings and accomplished siddhis. It is said that this holy being saw about twelve accomplished mercury elixirs, about six who had become invisible, and countless minor siddhis and accomplished activities. Then, the majority of the assembly dispersed, and about three hundred male and female yogis remained there for about four more months, their livelihood also provided by the king. During that time, the holy being also stayed there and attained unsurpassed joy through the feast of the holy Dharma. The supreme realized Zhiwa'i Zhalnga (Śāntipāda) said to this holy being: "Go to the regions of the north and east. If you know there are fortunate ones, teach them the Dharma as appropriate." So, he prostrated at the feet of the lama and returned. Then, a pandita-like figure led him to an inn with a kitchen. In the kitchen, there seemed to be many people, and they offered this holy being and many other yogis abundant food and drink. After he left, there was no one in the kitchen, and even the traces of a fire were not visible. It is said that there was also a yogi who, when he said "Make a fire!", a fire would ignite on its own, and when he said "Cook rice!", rice would appear in the pot, and so on, hosting guests with such miracles. Then, he arrived at Prayaga (Allahabad, India). He met Zhiwa'i Zhab's (Śāntipāda's) disciple, named Śubharakṣita (शुभरक्षित, 吉祥护), a very unpretentious and unkempt yogi.
