Having come to the middle, they scattered many precious things on his body and asked for forgiveness, saying that sentient beings could not abandon their respective customs, so please be compassionate and grant permission to build a temple. Later, when they built the temple, no fear occurred. However, from that time onwards, offerings to the god Kshyapa entered (Vishnu) became less in that area. After that, he also arranged for some fortunate ones to be ripened and liberated in various places, and it is said that people saw him in various years. There are still some scattered treatises and dohas written by him. Those were the disciples who attained supreme accomplishment while the teacher Practitioner himself was alive, six males and three females, all of whom were very famous. Another teacher, Bhadali, was born in eastern Bhagala. It is said that the teacher Practitioner arrived from the land of Jalandhara on his way to practice. Later, after the teacher passed away, he stayed in the land of eastern Oḍivisha. There, when a merchant offered land to the Sangha and was about to build a monastery, he said that the land had been occupied by heretics from the beginning and would not allow the construction of a Buddhist monastery. Later, he reported to the king, and a Brahmin built a small heretical lingam temple there. Later, the abbot of the Sangha raised a dispute, and many internal and external people gathered there. Teacher Bhadali came there and said, "Until this dispute is settled, let's move this temple over there." He tied the temple with a rope, carried it on his back like carrying something, and moved it near the villages of those Brahmins. There, people were amazed by the signs of accomplishment, and that place naturally came to the Sangha, and a temple called Ankshasthapana was built. It is said that he also later attained the accomplishment of Mahamudra. The accomplished Lavaipa, as mentioned above, was also. Later, in Magadha, many yogis who had gained some ability gathered together and performed a tsok khor (gathering circle) in the Cool Grove charnel ground. The venerable Lavaipa was the chief of the tsok.

He agreed to be the leader. When he entered the assembly hall, a black-skinned heretic, dressed as Ishvara, holding an Ucciṣṭapā (Tibetan: ཨུ་ཙིཥྚ་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: Ucciṣṭapā, Sanskrit Romanization: Ucciṣṭapā, Chinese literal meaning: One who eats leftovers), holding a skull, came and said he would be the leader of the assembly. Then, the teacher said, "You heretics cannot be the leader of our Buddhist assembly." The heretic said, "Then you yourself ascend the throne of the leader of the assembly." When he went to the throne, which was about two cubits high, the throne did not rise, and the teacher's body did not shrink, but the teacher's body only reached about a quarter of the throne, and he could not go to the throne by any other means. Then, knowing that the skull-holder was an emanation body, Vāyipā confessed his sins to the teacher and prayed. That emanation body turned into glorious Heruka and sat in the sky, saying, "You should have abandoned your pride and prayed from the beginning. Now, because of pride, you have lost the opportunity to obtain the desired accomplishment. Now, act for the benefit of sentient beings." After saying that, he disappeared. Then, the teacher went to the city of Ayodhya. There was a king there who held wrong views, named Vijñapti. Thinking of taming him, on one side of that place, inside a rock, there was a slightly empty cave, with a hole about eight fingers wide, the rock was thin and smooth, about eight cubits thick, and that hole was conspicuous. Apart from that, he lived in the empty rock cavity without a door. Some ministers and attendants of the king went there as usual, and saw that the door of the cave was very wide, and the cave was also very large, and the yogi was sitting in the midst of various foods and wealth. They told the king, and the next day the king came to see it in the manner of a parade. The teacher came out and said, "Please, great king, be sure to come here." Then the king, with some attendants, thinking that the door of the cave was wide, entered, and was satisfied with many abundant foods. After that, the king and the minister stayed there, and when the attendant went out, the teacher performed miracles and trapped the two of them in the narrow cave. There was no way to go outside, and the side of the small hole was also a very hard rock.
