This shows two situations at the same time. In the land of Sindhu, a new king of the heathens was enthroned. In that land, there was a temple called Norbu Sbe, where about five hundred monks resided. When the king wanted to destroy it, most of the monks there fled. The night before the heathen king was to arrive the next day, a yogi who had come from afar was staying in a small house. At midnight, the sound of music arose there. A monk who lived there looked through the crack in the door and saw many women with various forms and expressions making offerings to the yogi. He (the monk) said to him, "You seem to have attained power, please subdue the wicked king." The yogi said, "I do not have the karma to subdue him, I will invite Master Antarapa." The monk said, "The king is coming tomorrow, it is useless." The yogi said, "I will arrive now." Because he was an accomplished one who walked swiftly. Then, as soon as dawn broke, Master Antarapa arrived there with his retinue. After that, as the sun rose, the king came there riding an elephant with his entourage. The master looked at the elephant, and the elephant's trunk and tusks fell to the ground. The elephant's driver also threw the heathen king to the ground. The master looked again, and the king and all the brave soldiers became mute and stiff. The other armies fled. Then, among those brave soldiers, most of them knew that the master had attained accomplishment, and out of respect, they were released from their stiffness. The master looked again, and the elephant's trunk and tusks returned. The master said that the king had no karma to be healed, and he passed away. Soon after, a king named Yama, who possessed Dharma, took over that kingdom. This master mostly benefited beings through the practice of Chakrasamvara. He was also the root guru of the accomplished Tilopa. In the end, by practicing extremely simple conduct, he completed the secret stages and attained the supreme siddhi of Mahamudra. Furthermore, there were Nagpo Chupa, Bhuva Ripa, Bhupa Loden, and so on, starting from the younger Kusala Bhadra, and even up to the present time, the Carya group has not disappeared. This should be known as inferior. Here it is said: The one who pervades the three realms with supreme bliss, This story of those who have attained supreme accomplishment is wonderful. To boast of being a great yogi with just a stream of self-praising illusions is ridiculous. The story of the Vajra disciples with conduct is told here, which is believable. Whatever merit is gained from this, may it attain the state of Heruka. This biography of the great teacher Chöchang Wangpo, called "The Wonderful and Pleasant Sound," was also repeatedly urged by Kunga Palzang, who practices with me, and Tāranātha necessarily spoke of it in the meantime.
