Relying on that, when they set up the battlefield against each other, he said to blow this conch shell together with the blowing and playing, and then they did so. As a result, many barbarian soldiers fainted and became intoxicated, most of them became deaf, and all the horses ran and fled, unable to be caught by anyone. There, the barbarian army was completely destroyed. The army of the Kashmiri king also suppressed that place and made the Dharma flourish. It is said that the Kashmiri king at that time was Harsha Deva. A minister's son named Dhulava, who was very foolish, mentally deficient, took that conch shell and blew it a few times, and in that instant, he gained knowledge of all languages and scriptures, and was named Svayambhura Raja. Later, most of the reading, writing, and grammar of the Kashmiri region came from him. He seemed to have become a very eloquent speaker. Furthermore, it is said that this teacher blessed about a hundred mutes in that place, making them wise. Again, once he stayed in the place of glorious Oddiyana. At that time, in a northern area near Oddiyana, a new, unprecedented lake appeared. Venomous nagas harmed the people of Oddiyana and hated the Dharma. This incited the violence of the Makha robbers to come again and again. Thinking that he should subdue them, the teacher stayed near the lake with some attendants. There, no matter how much hail and lightning fell, not only were the teacher and his attendants unharmed, but they also picked up the hail with their hands and ate it. A terrible rain fell, and the hail piled up to a height of twenty cubits. He and his attendants went on top of such waves and stayed on that lake. There, countless venomous creatures gathered and appeared, but he remained in a state of unawareness, so some did not see them, and some who saw them could not touch them, because they had become like rainbows, so nothing could be done. In what way? The teacher concentrated his mind, causing the lake to boil, tearing apart the mounds of earth on one side, and the water flowed out, also carrying away many horses from the Makha region. The lake dried up, and the venomous nagas also lost their magical powers and disappeared, it is said. From then on, for about five hundred years, it is said that Oddiyana was not harmed by Makha or other places. For those

The Venerable practiced for many years, and then his body disappeared again, abiding in the all-pervading form of union. This Venerable also composed many treatises on the subject of Chakrasamvara, and also touched upon the intent of Hevajra. In general, he was known to all as an accomplished one of the Chakrasamvara mandala. The sixth, Geshe Tsimbupa, was a prince of Magadha, who became a monk at Nalanda and was also well-versed in the Dharma. Once, when the teacher Caryapa was residing in the land of Konkana, some friends urged him to go there and meet the teacher. He asked the teacher to accept him, and the teacher gave him the true empowerment, and guided him with instructions and subsequent instructions, and he stayed there for seven years. Then one day, he saw a gathering of five-colored clouds, sunlight, drizzle, and rainbows. He looked at them and meditated on the meaning of co-emergence, and as a result, these appearances arose like illusions. Because of this, true and unerring wisdom arose in his mind. After that, the eight aspects of vision and so on were also gradually accomplished. Again, he thought, what is the use of deceiving illusion with illusion, such as the heat sign and eye medicine? So he only meditated on co-emergence, and practiced extremely simple conduct. Later, when the teacher Caryapa and his retinue were going to the east, on a narrow, unavoidable path along the Ganges River, there was a leper whose body was covered with pus, blood, and scars, and whose fingers were all cut off. That person said, "Please rescue me from this river and take me to the outskirts of a city." But no one else was willing to help. So Tsimbupa carried him on his back and swam across the Ganges. As soon as they reached the middle of the Ganges, the leper immediately transformed into the form of Vajravarahi, and Tsimbupa also took on the form of Hevajra Heruka. Vajravarahi took Tsimbupa's hand and flew into the sky. There, Vajravarahi said to the other yogis, "A yogi must have compassion, without which how can one attain accomplishment?" This incident made Tsimbupa
