They were also placed in faith in the Buddha and then departed to other places. Again, they proceeded to Hari-kela, near the southern country of Malaya. In that place, there was a very large mountain considered a sacred site. Nowadays, it is called Chandra Kumara. At the foot of that mountain, a gathering place was built, and there, a grand feast of the assembly wheel was held. At that time, a female buffalo gave birth to a calf and was placed at the door. A local official, wanting to see if the yogi had power or not, closed the door of the assembly place at noon and stole the female buffalo and the calf. After walking about fifty steps, he looked back and saw that the female buffalo and the calf were still in their original place, looking very similar to each other. He sent someone to steal them again, and when he looked back again, they were still in their original place as before. This happened seven times. Then, thinking he had obtained seven female buffaloes and seven calves, there was nothing there except the mother and child. When he looked back at the original place, the mother and child were still there. He thought, 'Now, are these the female buffalo and the calf, or are they the other ones? I don't know which is true and which is false.' So, he abandoned the pair he had taken together and left. After that, he realized that the yogi's magical powers and the way the superknowledges manifested were amazing. He renounced half of his kingdom's wealth and became a yogi in the guru's retinue. It is said that he was a follower of the Lava school. Also, when the king of the country of Trilinga offered to the guru and his retinue, they went to the charnel ground near that place, Attahasa (藏文,ཨཊྚཊྚ་ཧ་ས་,梵文天城体,Attahasa,梵文罗马拟音,Attahāsa,汉语字面意思,大笑), and made a haha sound there. They held the feast of the assembly wheel there for a long time. The king offered countless items and wealth, and many people from the local Brahmin, Kshatriya sons, merchants, farmers, Shudras, and others, as well as about five hundred women, gathered for the purpose of making offerings. Due to the special nature of the assembly food, a fruit called Kharbuja, the queen of fruits, one multiplied into hundreds of thousands and was distributed to everyone. They ate these things, and their lineage continued.

Blessed with a seal. Acting with a subduing posture, causing all beings to attain wisdom. Manifesting bodily and verbal expressions and miracles, various kinds of transformations. Afterwards, all of them became yogis and yoginis, giving rise to thousands who attained only excellent samadhi, and many also attained accomplishments. Again, residing in a place called Daṇḍakāraṇya, near the southern land of Khana. In that place, there was an excellent lake. While beings were drinking from it, two black-sided, umbrella-bearing nagas suddenly came. They actually drank the water in the form of poisonous snakes, making the lake unbearable with the poison from their mouths. There was a Buddhist settlement there, and some monks and lay practitioners drank water from the lake, and they immediately died from the poison mixed with the poisonous snakes' saliva. The teacher heard of this and went to the shore of the lake. From the midst of the churning lake, the two evil nagas arose, intending to bind the teacher's body and coiled around him, but they could not harm him. The teacher contemplated, and by stretching out his body, the bodies of the two evil nagas in the form of snakes were cut into hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pieces. For a long time, he made them suffer from intense feelings of pain. When they pleaded with reverence again, he made a vow not to harm sentient beings, and again took them in with a healing posture, and also collected the poison from the water. The people who had died before were also revived by the sound of clapping hands. There, the disciples heard that the teacher had come to subdue the evil snakes, so they came to see, and most of the beings of that land gathered there. Having subdued the nagas, those nagas and countless snake-bodied nagas gathered together. In the center of a building-like structure, the teacher resided. All the beings looked at him and were amazed. Then those snakes disappeared, and those gatherings of beings also departed. By expounding the mantra vehicle in that land, it was also said that many beings attained accomplishments. At that time, the king of the land of Oddiyana, Digdeva, also known as the god of direction, invited the teacher and stayed for a long time, direction.
