Na is Maitri Gupta. He was a Brahmin heretic Pandit. Later, after meeting Naropa, he became a Buddhist, requesting empowerment and instructions. He was ordained at Nalanda and relied on many learned and accomplished masters such as Ratna Ākara Shānti, becoming a great Pandit. He resided in the monastery of Vikramaśīla, surpassing all others. As a Pandit, he alternately engaged in Dharma activities and practice. Later, he had a vision of Vajrayogini and knew it was time to help his samadhi. He secretly practiced inner yoga, but a novice monk saw the master drinking alcohol with a woman. He opposed him in the assembly, and the master vomited milk and blessed that novice monk to vomit alcohol. For a while, no one mentioned the vomiting of alcohol. Again, one time, the monastery officers and others found out and came to rebuke him. Some say that he turned the alcohol into milk, made the woman disappear, or turned her into a bell. Later, one time, they secretly rebuked him. He did not have time to transform with mantras, so the Sangha expelled him. He laid a leather cushion on the Ganges River and left. It is said that at that time, the monastery officer was Atisha. To purify his obscurations, it is said that he himself listened to the Dharma from the king, and it is also said that he went to Tibet. It is also said that he made uninterrupted tsatsas. Although he gained countless abilities there, he did not fully realize Suchness. He received a prophecy from his yidam and went to Mount Shri to find Shāwaripa. On the southern road, he met Prince Sakara. He went to Mount Shri with the prince. The people nearby said: Shāwaripa is a previous accomplished one, how can he be found now? However, he prayed single-mindedly. After six months, he met Shāwaripa. When he untied Shāwaripa's hair, lice fell out. Two consorts were making offerings, and Maitripa was a little doubtful. The prince paid homage to his feet. He said "Aya Zara Wala Hu," and he was immediately liberated and transformed into a rainbow body, so faith arose. Furthermore, when he saw the two consorts killing pigs, deer, and peacocks, he was a little doubtful, and when he snapped his fingers, they disappeared. However, through empowerment, instructions, and subsequent instructions, he generated the wisdom of seeing the nature of reality. Heroic Dakinis
