It is said that he was. His disciple was the wine-selling woman Bilasya Vajra, which in Tibetan is called "Charming Vajra." She was a brewer for a king in the land of Oddiyana. When she was sixteen years old, the master Dombi Heruka came to that place and taught the Dharma. Because the king liked heretics, he could not be subdued. The master went to the wine-selling woman and asked her, and she said, "If you threaten him with snakes, you can subdue him." There, the master thought about it. When poisonous snakes surrounded the king's house, the king was frightened and had no other refuge. The wine-selling woman said, "These heretical teachers cannot save you, pray to Dombipa." The king also prayed sincerely. When the master came there, all the poisonous snakes went underground. The king and his retinue became believers in Buddhism. It is said that they also made offerings to the master for a long time. There, seeing that the wine-selling woman was a vessel, Dombipa and Vinapa gave her initiation and instructions. When she became a yogini who had attained power, Lady Lakshminkara showed the teachings of great bliss. The master Vinapa showed the inconceivable teachings, and she became the chief of the yoginis who possessed the mind of clear light vajra. She did immeasurable benefit to beings and was also known as the yogini Chinto. She gave the teachings to Vajra Ghantapa. That master was a member of a royal family near Odisha, and he became a monk at Nalanda. He was named Wisdom Essence Glory. Later he became a great scholar and defeated the heretical opponents, and was known as the god who triumphs over enemies. It is said that he was also once appointed as the abbot of Nalanda. Then he met the accomplished Darikapa, requested initiation and suchness, and while meditating, he received the prophecy, "Go to Oddiyana, and you will attain accomplishment." When he went to Oddiyana, he met the yogini Bilasya Vajra, who appeared as a pig herder. She also showed the inconceivable Great Seal, the form of great desire, thereby comprehending all suchness, and meditated in the forests of eastern Odisha.
