In between, it has disappeared, and now even an example is not visible. There, one hundred treatises on craftsmanship, as well as treatises on grammar, logic, medicine, prosody, drama, lexicography, poetry, and astrology, were composed. When mainly explaining those to the students, the Holy Tara said, "The Ten Bhumis and the Moon Lamp, the Tree Adornment and the Entering into Lanka, read the one who has become the mother of all Buddhas! What use is the deceit of bad prosody to you?" Therefore, he briefly taught the external fields of knowledge, and constantly taught those five wonderful sutras to others. He himself also recited them daily. He also composed a treatise summarizing the meaning of each of those sutras. In general, he composed one hundred and eight praises, one hundred and eight treatises on inner knowledge, one hundred and eight treatises on external knowledge, and one hundred and eight treatises on craftsmanship. It is said that he composed four hundred and thirty-two minor and miscellaneous works. He also composed a treatise called "Pradipa-mali," which shows all the stages of the Bodhisattva path, but it did not become widespread. It is said that there is still a tradition of teaching it in 'Gro-lding and Singhaladvipa. The Twenty Verses and the Entering into the Three Bodies are used as teaching materials by all later Mahayana Panditas. One hundred methods of practicing Tara and one hundred methods of practicing Avalokiteshvara seem to have been composed by this teacher and translated into Tibetan. In general, it seems that he himself composed many treatises. Also, a poor old woman had a beautiful daughter, and because she had no dowry, she went to various places to beg. She came to Nalanda and begged at the great assembly of Chandrakirti. Chandrakirti said, "I am a monk and do not carry many belongings. Even the little I have is needed for the temple and the Sangha. In that house over there is Chandragomin, go and beg there." The old woman went to Chandragomin to beg, and he had only one robe to wear and one copy of the Ashtasahasrika Prajnaparamita Sutra. There, on the wall, was a painting of Tara, which was very...

With a loving heart, he prayed to her and shed tears, and she immediately transformed into the actual Tara. She removed the priceless jewels made of various precious gems from her body and offered them to the Acharya. The Acharya also gave them back to her, and she was very satisfied. Because the Tara in the painting was without ornaments, she became known as the Unadorned Tara, leaving traces of where the ornaments had been removed. In this way, she worked for a long time for the benefit of sentient beings, and finally decided to go to Mount Potala. When she was traveling from Jambudvipa to Dhanaśrī, she had previously offended the Naga king Śeṣa, who held a grudge and stirred up huge waves to sink the ship. A voice came from the sea, calling out to Candragomin. When they prayed to Tara, the noble mother and her retinue of five appeared in the sky in front of them on a celestial vehicle, and the Nagas were frightened and terrified, and the ship safely arrived in Dhanaśrī. There, she offered to the auspicious Dhānyakaṭaka Stupa, and built one hundred and eight Tara temples and one hundred and eight Avalokiteśvara temples. She went to Mount Potala and still resides there without abandoning her body. The letter sent to the disciple was: A monk named Rinchen Drakpa, the son of a king, was sent from Potala to the merchants. It is said that upon seeing the letter, he practiced according to the Dharma. In this way, the early part of the lives of the glorious Chandrakirti and Candragomin was during the time when Kings Simha and Bharṣa ruled, and it is known that it was also the early part of the life of Dharmapala. The meeting of Chandrakirti and Candragomin at Nalanda, etc., was during the later part of their lives, and the time when Acharya Dharmapala worked for the benefit of beings was during the time of King Simha the Fifth. This is the twenty-fourth story about the time of King Angtshul. At the time when King Bharṣa and Simhachandra had just passed away, a powerful king named Yauva appeared in Malava in the west, and he almost threatened King Angtshul. He ruled for thirty years and died at the same time as King Angtshul. In the east, the son of Bharṣa, a very powerful king named Simha the Fifth, appeared.
