A person named "Increaser" became very wealthy and powerful. He restored all the previously dilapidated temples and expanded the religious foundation. A person named "Abiding Samrdzogs" made great contributions to Buddhism, expanded the Sravaka Vinaya Pitaka, and established sixty religious sites in Magadha. At that time, in the western city of Molatana called Baghdad, there appeared a Tajik Mongol king named Halalu, who followed the prophet of Islam. He possessed the wealth of a hundred thousand horses and became very powerful, and it is said that he was the beginning of the appearance of Muslims in India. At the end of the reign of King Bhamsa Chandra, and during the time of Sala Chandra, a Brahmin named Kashi Zata appeared in the east, who respectfully offered to all the previous religious sites. Especially in the city of Svanaraghava in Bengal, he provided living expenses for sixty-four preachers and ten listeners for each preacher, reviving the declining Buddhism. These all occurred when Master Nagarjuna was residing on Mount Palava, and shortly thereafter. This was the time when Buddhism first encountered enemies and was restored to its original state, the sixteenth period. Thereafter, there appeared a king named Sala Chandra Gusta, meaning "Hidden Moon." He was very powerful and was counted as one of the ten Chandras. He practiced both virtue and vice, and because he did not take refuge in the Buddha, he was not counted as one of the seven Chandras. During the reign of this king, Acharya Aryadeva and Nagahava at the glorious Nalanda Monastery extensively propagated Buddhism by Master Nagarjuna. Regarding Acharya Aryadeva, according to the common Tibetan account, he was miraculously born from a lotus in the garden of the Simhala king, and the king raised him as his own son. Eventually, he became a disciple of Master Nagarjuna. Some believe that when Master Nagarjuna was alive, he subdued the difficult-to-defeat Black Heretic. Some say that he was not only that but was also the same person as the accomplished Karna Ripa, and therefore dissolved into the rainbow body while Nagarjuna was still alive. In Tibet, whatever the story, whether true or false, if it is widely known and circulated among the people, it is usually very true.

Even if other meaningful words were spoken, they would not be heard, and although there was a feeling of discomfort in the heart, if I were to speak truthfully here, in the commentary on the "Four Hundred," the teacher Chandrakirti also said that he was the son of the king of the island of Simhala. In the original stories of India, it is also said in the same way, If it is said in this way, there was a king of the island of Simhala named Pañcaśrīgaṃ, who had a son with a name. When he grew up, although he was placed in the position of crown prince, he was particularly fond of ordination. He was ordained and fully ordained by the abbot Hemadeva. After mastering all three baskets, he came to Jambudvipa to visit the temples and stupas of various places. When the teacher Nāgārjuna went from the place of King Deva to Mount Śrī, he went to see him and served the lotus feet of the teacher on Mount Śrī, and obtained many siddhis such as the elixir of life, and finally he was also entrusted with the teachings of the meaning of the heart essence. After the death of the teacher Nāgārjuna, in the southern regions near him, he benefited sentient beings through disciples and listening and teaching, and obtained provisions from mountain gods and tree gods, and built twenty-four monasteries. The yakshini Kalpabhadra offered food, and in all these places, she established a base for each Mahayana Dharma. At that time, in the east, in the city of Linī called Korta, a Brahmin named Thubdka Napo appeared, and he went to all the places and defeated the Buddhist teachings by debate. After coming to glorious Nalanda, the Buddhists were unable to debate with him, so they wrote a letter inviting the teacher Aryadeva, and made a torma to Mahakala. At this time, a crow appeared from the heart of the self-arisen stone statue of Mahakala. A letter was hung around its neck, and it flew to the south and gave it to the teacher. The teacher also knew that it was the time to subdue, and relied on the substance of swift feet to come quickly. On the way, a woman of a heretical lineage needed the eye of a learned bhikshu for the sake of the substance of accomplishment, so she asked him for one eye, and he gave it to her. For about an hour,
